Ivy screamed as the salt and vinegar was poured all over her chest. Joker cackled as he watched it burn into her skin. "A little hot, Ivy?" He asked as he temptingly waved the salt over her face. Ivy looked up at him with hatred."So, tell me where my dear little Harley Quinn is hiding with my... kiddies."
Ivy noticed that he paused before saying the last word, but she threw her head back to scream as he threw a pinch of salt and drop of vinegar on her cheek. "Stop it!" She yelled, trying to get out from under him. But he still had her arms pinned and wasn't letting up. He smiled at her and shook the salt shaker. "Still sounds pretty full. Wonder how much longer it can hold out." He said as he positioned it over her chest again.
"Stop!". He paused as she looked at him, anger flaring in her eyes. Joker's smile vanished for a second, and he got close to her face.
"Tell me where they are, or I send you to the garden of heaven." He snarled. For once, Ivy was afraid of the demented clown. He had her in a position that she couldn't get out of. If she didn't tell, she was gonna suffer until he eventually beat the answer out of her.
She tried to straighten up a little, and stared straight into Jokers eyes.
"Do your worst. I'm not letting you touch Harley or those girls." She growled.
Joker looked at her, pure rage in his eyes.
His lips slowly curled into a smile again.
"Fine." was all he said before dumping the salt and vinegar all over her body.

Lucy looked out her bedroom window, her shoulder resting on the sill.Arleen was asleep in the other room. The wax had cooled off nicely, and you could barely tell there was anything there in the first place. Harley made her say the whole story (minus the part about the Joker), and realized that it wasn't either of theirs faults. Ace and Jester were more interested in how Lucy took care of the robbers with a knife.
It was now 8:00 P.M.. Lucy felt weird knowing that her sister was in the other room with candle wax all over her arm and a bloody bullet downstairs that was lodged in her arm.
Eventually, her thoughts turned back to the Joker. He seemed...interesting. She liked his style, even if he threatened her and Arleen. It still confused her how he seemed interested in her mom when he found out.
Slowly, she got up and walked out the room and down the hallway. Her moms room was at the end, and she gently knocked on it.
Harley peeked out to see her. "Hey, Luce! What's up?" She greeted. Lucy could tell she was thinking about what happened. She looked down at her moms boots.
"Mom, I'm sorry I let Arleen get hurt today. It was all my fault, and I should have been more care-"
She was cut off when Harley pulled her into a warm embrace. "It wasn't your fault, and don't you dare think that. I think you did a rather very good job getting you and your sister out of there. If anything, I'm rather proud." She heard her say softly.
Lucy smiled, and wrapped her arms around her mom. They hugged, both smiling.

Joker kicked down the door to Ivy's bedroom. The plants inside were alive and started to get upset when they realized he wasn't Ivy, but he just stepped over them. He yanked open the drawers to her dresser and tossed out clothes and other items, looking for any sort of clue as to where they were.
He got to the closet and found old shoeboxes, which he carelessly ripped open. It wasn't until he opened the fifth one when he found something interesting.
He picked up a postcard. On the back was a letter written in crayon.
Hi, Aunt Ivy!
It's Ace and Jester! We haven't seen you since we came to our new home, so we miss you! Hope you can come visit! We're having so much fun here! Some of the rides still work, and if you climb to the top of the Ferris wheel, you can see everything! Our Mommy sometimes says she misses you. Please come visit. You missed Arleen's birthday, so we also sent you a picture!
Bye!
Joker noticed a picture clipped into the back, and turned it over. It showed his Harley girl with five girls, all around a cake with a 11 on it and the words 'Happy Birthday, Arleen!'. All of them were half-hugging each other and smiling at the camera. Joker was silent as he looked at it.
So, they were his kids? He had five daughters? Was that what Harley was doing all those times she was gone for a long time?
Joker growled as he pulled the picture off the card and shoved it into his pocket. The back of the card advertised the old amusement park on a small island just outside Gotham, forgotten by almost everyone.
Joker smiled as he walked out of the room and back into the kitchen.
Ivy was still lying on the floor. Her skin was burned and seemed to be dying. She shook a little as she looked up at Joker, her eyes widening when she saw the post card in his hands.
"So, five girls? Five of my daughters living on an island with her?" He asked her, nudging her arm with his foot. She couldn't do anything as the salt and vinegar still sizzled on her skin.
Joker pushed her onto her stomach. "Let's hope someone finds you before you start to look like a weed." He muttered as he walked out the door frame, not looking back as he left the apartment.
Ivy moaned as she tried to brush the salt and vinegar off her. "Harley...he's coming." She whispered.

Harley looked at the couch in her living room. Jester and Ace were stretched across it, fast asleep in their pajamas. Harley snickered as she switched off the TV. Jester's foot was dangerously close to Ace's face.
Harley carefully picked them up with both arms, letting them rest against her chest as she walked up the stairs. She laid Ace in her bed and than Jester in hers, switching off the lights as she closed the door. Seeing Pam asleep in her bed, Harley went down the hall to her room. She yawned as she opened the door and stepped in.
Joker was sitting on her bed, one leg over the other and his hands folded on his lap. His smile stretched across his face as he looked at her.
"So, my Harley Quinn, how are things?"
