Pam was starting to get worried. The young girl hadn't heard anything from her mother. She normally always opened the door immediately when she knocked on it.
"Mommy?" She asked once more, knocking on the door. She held her transformers toy in one arm as the other was up to knock on the door.
She heard something move on the other side. Putting her ear against the door, she thought she could hear her mom talking to somebody, though she couldn't tell what they were saying.
Grasping the doorknob, she turned it only to find it locked.
"Pam?!" Her mom's voice suddenly called out. The young girl then stepped back when the door opened a crack and she saw her mother's face.
"Mommy? Are you okay?" She asked hesitantly.
Harley seemed to flinch for a second before smiling. "Yes, I'm fine, angel. I just had a little accident with my bed. It was nothing."
Pam tilted her head, confused by her mom's behavior. Harley reached out a hand and caressed her cheek lovingly before pulling back and starting to close the door.
"Goodnight, my wildcard." She whispered.
Pam looked up just as the door closed again, her eyes widening. Wildcard was the word that meant she had to get her sisters. Something was wrong.
Holding her toy closer, the young child ran down the hallway.

Harley heard the Joker chuckle as she closed the door. Growling, she shot a death glare at him."Get out now." She said in an icy voice.
Joker just smirked, taking a step closer.
"Not without my toys."
Harley didn't have time to react before he charged at her. She couldn't even scream before she was shoved against the door, bruising her spine from the force. Switching to defense, she landed a kick to the clown's side, making him stumble. But his hand grabbed her wrist and threw her to the ground. She got to her knees before a foot slammed right into her exposed stomach. She doubled over in pain, kicks raining down on her back and chest. She started sobbing as the pain brought back horrible memories of past sessions with her tormentor.
"Harley girl..." Joker hissed, planting a foot on her back. "You're medicine is ready."
And he punched her right across the cheek, blood dripping onto the floor.

"Lucy!" Pam whisper-yelled as she opened her sister's door. The older girl was still asleep as her sister ran over and started shaking her shoulder. "Lucy, wake up!""Uhn...Pamela?" Lucy moaned as she sat up, rubbing her eyes. "Did you have another nightmare? Why didn't you go to mom?"
"Mommy's in trouble! She told me to get you!"
That made Lucy wake up. Taking her sister's hand, the girl quietly crept out to the hallway.
"Pamela," she got down to look her sister in the eye, holding her shoulders. "Listen to me very carefully; you're going to go get Jester and Ace and hide with Arleen. Tell them I told them to be armed and don't come out until I come and get you. Do you understand?"
"Y-yes." Pam whispered, her voice shaking with fear. Lucy quickly kissed her on the forehead before sending her off. She then went over to the wall where there was a faint outline of a hidden space. Grasping the edges, she quietly removed it and set it to the side.
Standing up, she slung a bullet belt over her shoulder and grabbed a shotgun with the word 'Good-bye!' written on the side.
Loading it silently, she walked to her mother's room.
