Lucy felt her legs almost go out on her, and felt the shotgun shake in her grip.

Her eyes then blazed, and she cocked the gun again.

"Lair." She hissed, her finger a tiniest hair away from squeezing the trigger.

Joker just smirked. "No, my dear. I'm your father, just ask Harley girl here." His foot lightly kicked the woman beneath him.

Despite the rage for the man who hurt her mom, Lucy felt something that wanted to know if this was true. So still keeping the gun on Joker, her eyes darted to Harley.

"Mom...what's he talking about?" She practically whispered.

"Luce..." Harley gasped, trying to drag herself to her daughter. "I'm so sorry...I should have told you sooner..."

Lucy could feel something in her freezing, and her trigger finger rested unknowingly.

Unfortunately, that gave Joker his opening.

Lucy could just cry out as he grabbed her and pushed her to the ground, her arms pinned behind her back and secured with a hidden zip tie. The shotgun was kicked away.

"So much potential..." Joker whispered, his smiling face centimeters from the girl's ear. "You just need the right teaching."

"No!" Harley cried, her arm reaching futility to snag the clown's jacket. "Get away from her! Don't hurt her!"

This was her worst nightmare come true! Everything was falling apart so fast. She'd die for her girls, but she didn't even have that option right now!

Joker easily pulled away from the injured woman and stood Lucy up, forcing her to walk to the door. Before they left, he turned to look at Harley Quinn.

"Just sit tight, darling. I need to collect the rest of our little babies."

He then shoved Lucy out and shut the door behind him, hearing a scream of rage and pain come from behind them. Pulling Lucy against him, he looked down the hallway with four unopened doors.

"Where are you're four sisters?" He asked in a growl, squeezing her arm as a threat.

Lucy's brain worked desperately for an idea. She can't give up this easily and surrender, they'd never survive! But at the same time, she didn't know anything about the situation. One of the first things her mom taught her was to use the information you have for the most.

She didn't know if the Joker was alone, or if he had any other weapons, or a bomb. She didn't know if her sister's were armed, or if they knew the situation. While she had told them to stay hidden, Ace and Jester might've chosen this time to not listen to her like the many times before. Joker seemed to know certain information on them, like how many sisters she had.

She suddenly felt something cold press against her back, and one of her unknowns was filled in when she recognized the feel as a knife.

"Which door, girl?"

Her eyes went to the second to last door, where Arleen's name was carved into the wood. That was where they should be hiding, if they listened to her. But she had to find a way to get an advantage over Joker.

Unfortunately, any plans she had came to a stop when she heard a voice.

"Ok, mister, let go of my sister right now!"

Both clown and hostage looked in the direction of the stairs leading down to the kitchen. There stood Ace, two hand guns out and pointed at him. She was glaring at the man, the look of anger seeming unnatural on her usually happy face.
