Harley's POV
I woke up groaning, it seemed to be how I woke up these days. My body was aching like I had been hit by a rocket and I couldn't even move a toe.
My mind was foggy and all I wanted was to get back to that deep slumber but I couldn't. I had a head splitting headache which made me groan louder.
There was this beeping sound right next to me and it was ticking me off, it felt like I was suffering from a hangover from hell, literally.
"Take it easy, here is a glass of water." A voice I didn't recognise spoke which made me quickly open my eyes only to be blinded by the sun shine. I closed my eyes back again and groaned louder as the headache got worse. I tried to open my eyes again to be blinded again but only this time they adjusted soon.
The first thing I saw was the ceiling which was painted with gorgeous golden flowers, all sorts of flowers which were so beautiful; it was a beautiful view. At the centre of the ceiling hung a massive crystal chandelier which looked overly expensive and ancient.
Where was I ? I asked myself perplexed.
I then looked at the walls which were covered in gold wallpaper which was amazing, there was an adjoining living room which had a fire place and an elegant couch. A flat screen TV was mounted just on top of the fire place.
The room was decorated with antiques, there were beautiful shining drawers here and there, beautiful fresh flowers which made the room fresh and beautiful. There was a cool breeze which was coming from the opened balcony gold cottage doors and it just smelt like the sea.
I took a deep breath and another one trying to figure out where I was. This room seemed like it was taken out a royal movie from the eighteen hundreds or something. The sheets I lay on felt like heaven on earth; silky sheets that made your skin tingle. I looked at the bed and the covers were pure white and they were branded, a golden embroidery. I looked at the name written in the covers " Roderou" . It was a name I didn't recognize but it just slid from my tongue like melted ice cream.
Finally my eyes settled on the figure that sat at the edge of the bed. At first it didn't click but then I looked again and I recognized the face.
" Klaus," I tried to say but my throat felt like charcoal. I tried to back up to the headboard but failed to move a single inch. My body just went sore and I groaned.
" Take it easy, " he said staring at me.
I looked at his golden eyes and bit my lip uneasily.
Where was I? What was I doing here? The questions filled my mind but my mind was foggy and I couldn't come up with an answer.
" I will not hurt you, I know you are in pain please just drink the water. I have called for my head maid, she will be bringing your food soon so you can take your pills " he continued.
I wanted to tell him that I didn't want his food nor water, okay maybe the water. What I needed were answers on where the fuck I was.
My mouth was so dry it hurt. I tried to reach for the water but every time I tried to move my chest ached. I looked down at my chest only to see a grey t-shirt which was not really my size.
" Sorry, your clothes will be arriving soon so for now you can just wear my sister's clothes. I swear she won't mind." Klaus said bringing the glass of water to my lips which I eagerly emptied.
"More?" He asked and I nodded my head. He poured more water from the jar and brought the glass back to my lips. I emptied the glass and then cleared my throat as he put the glass down.
