As we pull into our new house, I gasp. Wow, this is the biggest house I've ever seen, I think.
My mom turns around and says, "What do you think, Xader?"
"Wow... uhh... it's amazing, mom."

I'm home alone, my parents left the house to go to a neighborhood festival. I didn't want to go. I hear a knock on the door so I go answer it.
There's a girl with pretty blue eyes and brown hair. I immediately find myself admiring her looks.
The girl grins and says, "Staying home from the party huh? I'm Wendora, your neighbor but you can call me Wendy."
"Yeah, I'm Alexader. You can call me Alex."
"So I don't normally go to the parties we have in the neighborhood. My mom called and said that y'all just moved and she met your parents. She told me you were over here alone and were probably bored so, here I am."
"Yeah, I didn't feel like going to a party with a bunch of people I don't know."
"I understand completely. Would you rather hang out with me? I could give you a tour of the neighborhood?"
"Yeah that sounds fun," I say, "Give me a few minutes to get ready, I'll come over to your house and we can go. Is that okay?"
Yeah, see you then Alex," she says with a cocky smile on her face.
"See you, Wendy." I say, with a smile.
As she walks away, I head toward the kitchen and pull out a throw-away glass. I pour some water from the sink into the glass and set it one the counter, before splashing my face with water.
