I'm in my room looking for something to wear to the fourth of July party. I have nothing to wear and the party is tomorrow.
Yesterday Chris and Gage got back from vacation. Ames, Chris, and I spent the day together at the pool. Chris said that Gage spent the day with Trey, training for football or getting the party ready.
I call Ames and Chris on group chat.
"Hey girl! Wassup?" Chris says, looking at me.
"I need something to wear to the party tomorrow and I don't have anything. I was thinking we could go to the mall. I know it's like an hour from here but maybe we could all get something new?" I say.
"Yay! Wait... is the world ending or does Wendy finally want to go shopping?" Ames says.
"No, I think she actually does, Eric." Chris says.
I glare at them. "So, meet up at my house in thirty minutes?"
"Yeah!" They say at the same time and laugh, before hanging up.
I go to my closet and pull out my jean shorts. After that I go to my dresser and pull out my white sleeveless, detailed top.
Before I go downstairs I put on a little makeup and a pair of white flip-flops.
I sit down on the couch and begin waiting on Ames and Chris. Around five minutes later, they show up and we start driving to the mall.
When we get there, we go straight to the most expensive store. Chris wanted to just get that store out of the way.

"We have been here forever and you still haven't picked anything out!" Ames says. She hates being in the mall for any longer than an hour.
"I'm sorry, I just haven't seen anything I've liked." I say.
I've looked in every store except one and we are at the food court eating Subway. I didn't like any of the dresses I saw. Ames got a green dress that brings out her eyes. Chris got a dark purple dress.
When we finish eating we head toward the only store we haven't been to.
I try on at least thirty dresses. I have all but lost hope, when I see it. It's the most beautiful dress I've ever seen. It's dressy and yet casual. It's perfect.
When I try it on it fits like a glove. It highlights my curves. It is a beautiful dark red and falls right above my knees.
I walk out and show the dress to Ames and Chris. Their jaws dropped.
"Where did you find that?" Ames said, as Chris said, "Go with that one!"
Then we all laughed.
"I just saw it last second. I liked it so I tried it on." I said.
"You're getting that one!" They say at the same time.
"Okay. Let me go get changed back in my clothes." I say and go get changed.
When we walk out of the mall, we each have a new dress and are ready for the party.

Ames and Chris are at my house and we are helping each other get ready for the party.
"So what do you think your boyfriend will say?" Ames says to me, wiggling her eyebrows up and down suggestively.
"I have no idea." I say, giving her a look.
She puts her hands up, surrendering.
The bell rings to my house, signaling that my time is up and more than likely, Alex is here.
I look to my friends with a scared look on my face. "Do you think he won't like the way I look?"
"He will love the way you look." Chris assures me.
I walk down stairs after putting on the dark red high heels, I bought to go with the dress.
When I open the door, I see Alex. He is wearing a leather jacket over a gray shirt and jeans.
His jaw drops when he takes in what I'm wearing. I blush.
"Wow!" He says, "You look amazing!"
"Thank you. Y-you do, too." I stutter out.
He blushes at this.
"So, you want to go?" He says, pointing over his shoulder at his car.
"Yeah." I say.
He opens the door to the car and I get in.
When we get to the party, most people are already drunk.
Alex turns to me and asks, "Do you want me to get us a couple of beers or coke or something?"
"Yeah, I'll take a diet coke." I say.
While waiting on Alex to come back I chat with Ames over text because she hasn't gotten here yet. She tells me she's leaving as Alex comes back.
"Are you having any fun?" Alex asks me.
"I don't know yet." I say.
"Well let's see if I can do something about that." He says, "May I have this dance?" He holds out his hand for mine.
"Why, yes." I say, smiling.
We dance along to the song Close To Me by Ellie Goulding and Diplo ft. Swae Lee.
"So, having fun yet?" He says, spinning me.
"Yes, indeed I am." I say.
He smiles at this and kisses me on the cheek. I gasp.
"Well, well, well... good to know you've already moved on from Trey. Huh?" I hear the most sickening voice say and I turn and look at them.

Ooh... shook. I don't even know who this person is gonna be yet.
Sorry... I haven't updated in like nine days. I'm not done yet.

Sorry for the poor choice in songs... it was the only song I could think of.
