Reader POV
"Jeff?.. Jeff!"
I quickly call out as I leave through the hospital doors. He left moments before me yet he was completely out of sight. I walk around the corner to see him changing back into his old clothes. A bare leg sticking out from behind the wall. To which I'm guessing is a naked guard Jeff took the clothes from.
"OI YOU! DONT MOVE!"
Just as Jeff put his final item of clothing back on, his hoodie. I was suddenly surrounded by police officers, all pointing a gun at me. I had no way to escape.
"PUT YOUR HANDS ABOVE YOUR HEAD!"
One of them orders. Panting heavily, my breathing shaking nervously, I slowly raise my arms so my hands were in the air, glancing my eyes to where Jeff previously stood. He was no longer there.
"Jeff where are you.."
I whisper quietly to myself. I could sense my own fear in my voice.
"GET DOWN ON THE GROUND AND KEEP YOUR HANDS ABOVE YOUR HEAD!"
The officer orders once again. I take a deep breath and prepare myself to kneel. But just as I was about to do so. I remembered what my ability was. And luckily for me, there was an officer standing directly in front of me with his eyes locked on mine. I couldn't help but chuckle.
"I SAID GET DOWN ON THE GROUND!"
The officer behind me yells angrily. I could hear him re-adjusting his grip on his gun. What he doesn't know is. It's not me he's going to be shooting.
I stare the officer opposite me directly in the eyes. Delving down deep into his pathetic soul. I could see his eyes opening wider, I knew he could feel my deep stare burning away inside of him. His hand holding the gun slowly moves off of me and points towards the officer standing beside him.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING SIR?!"
The officer beside him asks. But he doesn't reply. His free hand reaches for the other gun held in his belt, pointing at the officer standing on his other side. With just a squint of my eye, he shoots both officers in the head, moving his hands along to then shoot the next two. Killing all of the officers but the one standing behind me giving orders. The sound of blood splattering and body's falling to the floor could be heard after every shot.
"WHAT ON EARTH AT YOU DOING?!"
The one behind me yells, running past me to pin the officer down. Disarming him of his gun. But the moment the two hit the ground. The officer under my control was already dead. I fried his brain and boiled his blood just before the main officer could reach him.
"WHAT DID YOU DO?!"
He stands to his feet, storming over to me, grabbing my collar and pulling me towards him. Which was a bad move as it meant I'm closer to reach into his soul.
I slowly raise my head so my eyes met his stare. His jaw dropped once he saw my face, my scars, my blind left eye.
"My god.."
He whispers in shock. This only causes me to smirk, staring him in the eyes, watching as he releases me, stumbling slowly backwards. His hand which held the gun shakily lift up towards his mouth. He was definitely a fighter. You could see how much he was straining. But the was pointless. The gun forces into his mouth and he instantly pulls the trigger. Blood, skin, skull and brain matter splattering everywhere as his body falls to the floor with a thud."Nice one."
A voice calls from behind me. I knew it was Jeff.
I growl agitatedly as I bend down a pick up the gun from the dead officer. Taking any spare bullets he had too.
"Nice of you to help me."
I snap sarcastically as I stash the gun into the pocket of my overalls, grabbing my hat and throwing it to the floor.
"Well someone must have told the police who we were."
He says with a slight chuckle. I sigh turning around, only to be wide eyed once I see what Jeff was doing. He stood there holding the receptionist. One hand around her mouth to keep her quiet, his other hand held a knife tightly to her throat.
"Can't let them go free can we?"
He smirks, walking forward to which she desperately tries to push back on him to stop him moving. But Jeff was way too strong for a woman such as this.
She shakes her head as tears stream down her face. Her begging voice muffled behind Jeffs hand and she tries to plead for her life.
"Hey Jeff. Is it too childish to say Snitches get Stitches?"
I grin with squinting eyes as I glare at the woman he held. She vigorously shakes her head, her crying and pleading increasing more and more frequently.
"Let's find out. What do you say lady?"
Jeff asks, removing his hand from around her mouth. She gasped, just about to scream, but just before she could be heard, Jeff yanks the knifes blade harshly across her neck, slicing her throat with ease. Blood squirts out as her voice is silenced by her own gagging and spluttering. Blood spits at my overalls, practically soaking them due to how close I was standing. Jeff let's her go and her body slumps to the floor like a rag doll.
"Great.. now these clothes are soaked in blood."
I grunt. But Jeff only grins as he stuffs his blood covered knife in his pocket.
"Relax. I have an idea."
