From hating to dating

Prologue

It was the first day of 5th grade in elementary school. Annabeth Chase was on her mom's car. Percy Jackson was walking with his mom and his father. They both arrived and glared each other, then they waved goodbye to their parents.

"Annabeth Chase"

"Perseus Jackson"

"I see that you didn't enter in a comma for reading too much"

"I see that you didn't drown at the beach"

Those were the words they exchanged as soon as they got to school EVERY YEAR.

Annabeth walked to her friends and Percy walked to his. They hated each other and what divided them the most was Jennifer. Jennifer was a girl from Hispanic origin and daughter of Rodrigo Goméz, a famous movie director. Jennifer knew Annabeth had a tiny crush on Percy. Jennifer would embarrass her often and would encourage Percy to do so too. Annabeth saw in Percy's sea green eyes he didn't mean all of the things he had done to her. But the damage was already done. Annabeth would pull pranks on Percy as a revenge and Percy would be up to something in the next week.

The worst prank Jennifer and Percy pulled on Annabeth was one of her greatest fears. Annabeth walked to her locker to get something and they put a scary, big, toy spider in her locker. Annabeth screamed at the top of her lungs as soon as she saw it. She ran away crying and sobbing while she said "I hate you!" Percy was really sorry about it, but Jennifer would always convince him she was a crybaby and an overdramatizing bitch.
