Chapter 39- Epilogue

Wedding bells rang, as everyone gathered down on to a pabillion for the wedding they were about to observe. On the groom's side, Percy was freaking out. His mother, Sally, and Jason were trying to call him down. "What if she changes her mind last minute? What if she ends up running away with someone else-"

"PERSEUS JACKSON! I am your mother, and I forbid you from saying one thing more before your bride actually changes her mind!" Sally spoke sternly, holding her son's face between her hands. On a more relaxed tone, she said, "Annabeth is not going to say no. You guys are far too in love for that to happen. I think husband stays short to how much Annabeth appreciates you and I think you can tell that Annabeth is now so much more to you than just your wife, okay?"

"Okay" Percy said, taking a deep breath before looking at Jason.

"You're gonna be fine, dude, besides if Annabeth does change her mind, I might as well marry you." Said Jason, playfully punching Percy.

Percy chuckled, before taking his place in the altar, ready to be wed; only to realize that his tie was undone, turning back to her mother to ask her to get it in place for him.

On the other hand, the bride was pretty calm; the bridesmaids, not so much. 

"CLARISSE, IF YOU SAT STILL FOR 10 SECONDS, WE WOULD NOT BE IN THIS SITUATION!" Yelled Silena, chasing Clarisse around with a mascara wand in her heels. How could she run in heels? No one present really knew.

"I AM NOT WEARING MASCARA!" Clarisse yelled back, hiding behind Thalia.

"CLARISSE!" Silena yelled, shoving Thalia away, getting Clarisse to jump aside and take a big leap over a chair nearby, "ANNABETH'S GONNA BE LATE TO HER WEDDING IF YOU DON'T SIT DOWN! HOW CAN WE ASSURE YOU'RE GONNA STAY CALM DURING THE CEREMONY IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO SIT 10 SECONDS TO PUT A LAST DETAIL ON!"

Annabeth was shocked as to how Piper kept up with Silena wherever she wanted to give someone a makeup. Everyone in the room knew to just let Silena do her thing unless they had a death wish. They would look amazing in the funeral, but it just wasn't a viable option.

In the moment, Nico entered the room catching Clarisse, getting her to keep still. "I GOT YOU- Thank you, Nico!" Thanked Silena, applying mascara to a very glaring Silena.

"No problem," Said Nico, letting go of Clarisse after she almost bit his hand, "Hey, is Annabeth ready? Piper's mom won't stop everyone about it, so we kinda need the bride, on the pabillion, like in this second."

"Thank you, Nico, I'm on my way" Thanked Annabeth getting up. Outside the room, awaited Annabeth's father, Frederick. "My little girl, you've achieved so much and you've gone so far... You look beautiful, my child." Said Frederick, trying to not tear up.

"Dad" Said Annabeth, wiping his tears, "Thank you so much for everything," She smiled at him "We better get going now, Mrs. Venus will attack someone if we do not get there soon."

Slowly, Annabeth walked down the aisle, her stormy grey eyes locking with Percy's sea green ones. She is now ready to spend the rest of her life with the person she loves the most, and honestly, she doesn't regret anything.
