"Hey, hot stuff." Dustin Kropp whistled to Michael. Michael rolled his eyes and flipped him off, clearly not in the mood to entertain Dustin with his reactions.
"Aw don't be mad, baby. I want to make you feel good." Dustin purred.
"Back off, Dustin. You know Jeremy is my boyfriend."
"Nobody needs to know." He stepped closer and closer to Michael until he trapped him in between himself and the lockers. "No where to go now.."
Dustin leaned in and forcefully kissed Michael and Michael struggled to release himself from his hold. Dustin grabbed Michael's hands and placed them above his head, locking Michael in place.
Meanwhile, Jeremy was heading to Michael's locker to ask for a ride to Pinkberry and to ask if he wanted to go out for ice cream. Except what he saw, changed his mind immediately.
"..Michael? What the hell is going on!?" Jeremy yelled from the end of the hallway. He dropped his books and forced a totally-not-about-to-cry face on.
Michael kicked his leg up in shock and hit Dustin in the groin, making him fall over. "Jeremy! It's not what it looks like!"
Dustin groaned from the floor, "He gave me consent. He told me he's going to break it off with you to be with m-". Michael kicked him again.
"Seems to me that it is. Heh," Jeremy scoffed. "And here I was, about to ask you on a date. Have fun with Dustin. I'll find my own way home." He spun around and walked off, not bothering to look behind him because he knew if he did, he'd cry and would ask Michael to comfort him.
"No, Jeremy! Wait, please. You don't understand." Michael pleaded, sprinting to the love of his life.
"Stop, Michael. Whatever you say, won't help your problem." He muttered in response.
"So at the very beginning of conflict, you're going to avoid any communication with me whatsoever? Jere, you know I would do anything for you, I wouldn't dare to hurt you." Michael placed a hand on Jeremy's shoulder and turned him around. "Are you going to listen to that prick or are you going to listen to your boyfriend?"
"You know what, Michael? Maybe I'll listen to the person who kissed you just now. And you didn't have the nerve to tell him to leave you alone. Just maybe, I'll listen to you when I have the full story." Jeremy argued, yanking himself away from Michael.
"But I have the full story!" Michael ran to him and blocked his way.
"Get out of my way.. loser."

Jake and Rich busted through the library doors, raging fury escaping their bodies. Furious that Rich's otp was messed with, Rich ran up to a table and flipped it.
"Du'thtin FUCKING Kropp!!"
"Babe, fucks sake." Jake facepalmed.
//
"Christine, what have I done?" Jeremy cried, hands in his face. Tears poured out of his shiny blue eyes and his face was slightly red.
"You should apologize. Tell him you're ready for his side of the story. Rich and Jake already beat the peanuts out of Dustin for his side, just get Michael's. I'm sure he'd appreciate you listening to him. And I mean, it's been four days. You have to talk to him at some point. You guys still haven't broken up officially so technically, you guys are still together." Christine explained, rambling at some points.
"Four days. That's the longest time ever." Jeremy whimpered. He hugged the crap out of Christine's turtle plush. 'In honour of John Laurens' is what it said on the tag.
"Go to him. Now, maybe? Jenna and Rich are supposed to come over for 'history lessons with Christine Hamilton'." She grinned. She patted Jeremy's back and waved goodbye to Jeremy as he started walking back to his house. "And stop wallowing in self pity!!"
On the way to his house, Jeremy texted Michael.
To BobMarleyReincarnated: Can you meet at my house in ten minutes please?
Ba-ding.
From BobMarleyReincarnated: Of course, be there soon Mahal <3
Jeremy smiled sadly. Michael forgave him. Knowing him, he'd forgive Jeremy in a heartbeat.
Meanwhile, Michael was in the middle of wiping down a table at his new job, a waiter at Pinkberry. He only got the job the day Jeremy saw Dustin have him up against the wall, in hopes Jeremy would show up and talk to him. But he never did, Michael figured he was at Christine's house since whenever he knocked at the Heere's residence, Mr.Heere would say Jeremy went out for a walk.
"Brooke, can you cover for me?" Michael asked, already untying his apron and his roller skates.
"Where you off to?" Brooke questioned, carrying menus and two cups.
"Jeremy texted me-" Michael was cut off by Brooke pushing him out of the shop, muttering "quick, go see him" at least ten times.
Michael lightly jogged all the way to Jeremy's without stopping. He knew if he was late, Jeremy would be upset. He also knew that if he was late, he would stand outside long enough that Jeremy would open the door.
//
Jeremy sat on the stairs outside of his house, waiting for Michael. He glanced at his phone and smiled softly at his lock screen. A picture of Jeremy grinning, his hair tied up half way with one of Chloe's scrunchies and Michael kissing his cheek. It was a beautiful memory.
"Jere! Hey," Michael waved. "What's up?"
"I wanted to talk." Jeremy got up and dusted himself off before he awkwardly reached out for Michael's hand. But before he could grasp it, he retracted and stepped away.
"Sorry.. I.. I can't touch you until I know your side of the story." Jeremy explained, wringing his hands together. Michael nodded in understanding and followed Jeremy into his house and into his room upstairs.
Jeremy closed the door behind them and shook his head toward the bed, silently asking to sit down.
"Jeremy listen, I didn't kiss Dustin willingly. God, how could I when I have the most important person in my life as my boyfriend. That kind of didn't make sense. What I mean is, why would I do that when you're the most important thing to me? What happened was that I was trying to get my books from my locker, and Dustin was trying to get me to hook up with him or some shit. Obviously, I said no, that I had you. And he wouldn't take it as an answer." Michael took a deep breath and continued his rant. "So he forced me against the wall, and kissed me. No given consent."
".. That's it? Ugh, I could've gotten that information from Jake and Rich a long time ago. I just didn't want to hear about you...making out with some other guy when it's not me." Jeremy tugged in his sleeves and ashamedly steered his vision away from Michael's. "I'm sorry I didn't listen to you when you tried to explain yourself."
"And I'm sorry I didn't try hard enough to keep you around to hear me out. Baby..?" Michael whispered, grabbing Jere's hand.
"Hm?"
"I'd never intentionally hurt you. Ever, Mahal. You had the right to leave the situation but remember that you'll always be what I want. Who I want. There's no one else I'd rather have as my player two. I love you."
"I love you too."
"Can we nap now? I asked Brooke to cover my shift and I ran all the way here from Pinkberry and I'm exhausted." Michael complained, wiping imaginary sweat off his forehead and leaning backwards into Jeremy's bed.
"Shift? Pinkberry?" Jeremy laughed. "Since when?"
"I begged Brooke to ask her boss to let me have a job there. I hoped you'd show up so I could talk to you but you never did. Which is fine, by the way." Michael said, pulling the cover up on him, wrapping it around Jeremy as well. He cuddled against Jeremy's back and sighed calmly.
"I was at Christine's - as she puts it, wallowing in self pity." Jeremy huffed in response to her way of words.
"I know. I love you, Jere. So freaking much." Michael tightened his arms around Jeremy and Jeremy giggled and mumbled an 'I love you too' back.
