"Connor, my beautiful pine! I bought you a new scrunchie and these cute fruit themed barrettes, look!" Evan came barging through his bedroom door, knowing Connor was waiting for him because his mom said so. He kicked it shut behind him, and hopped onto his bed with a quiet 'oeuf'."Ooh, lemme see." Connor grabbed the lavender coloured bag and emptied it out. There was a strawberry, banana, pineapple and a cherry shaped barrette and all were coloured to exact detail. "Oh these are so cute, I love it."
"That's not the best part. I found this hair tie at Queenie's and ah, it has tree prints!" Evan squealed, pulling the hair tie on his arm, getting ready to play with Connors soft brown hair.
Evan pulled Connors hair into a messy up-do and secured it with his new favorite scrunchie. He grabbed two barrettes and pinned the loose strands into his bun. Evan ran across the room, grabbing the small mirror and skipped back to Con, showing him his hair style for today.
"I look perfect. Thank you, my lovely Hansen." Connor smiled sweetly up at Evan and had him blushing a light pink.
"Now get dressed in some appropriate clothes, my step brothers' boyfriend are picking me, you and Jeremy up in ten minutes for some fun skating downtown." Evan swooped down and pecked Connors cheek before running out of the room to tell Jeremy they'll be ready in five.

"Woah! Fuck! Evannnnn, how are you so good at this?" Connor yelled, tripping for the seventeenth time. He stopped holding onto Evan because 'I'm not ruining my bad boy image for this girly skating event.'
"Connor, just let me help. You're not the only one, Jeremy is having trouble too." Evan replied. He pointed to the boyf riends, where Michael was hugging Jeremy from behind, teaching him how to skate.
Connor frowned. The boyf riends he saw we're completely head over heals for each other while he and Evan were a bit on the not-so-clingy side. Did Evan want more love and affection? Did he want more from Connor or was Connor just not satisfying enough for him?
Connor bit his lip and looked down at the floor. Evan turned his eyes back to Connor to see him staring at the floor with an emotionless face. The same emotionless he sees when something is upsetting him. Evan smoothly skated to Connor and sat down next to him.
"Con, what's wrong?" Evan asked, placing a hand on his back in a comforting manner.
"I think I'm in love with you, Ev." Connor smiled. Since they started dating three months ago, Evan had told Connor that he loved him. But Connor, who feared commitment and was a bit scared of loving someone too less, had avoided saying it.
"Y-you do? I d-don't want you t-to feel pressured or anything. But I
l-love you too, a lot." Evan spoke softly, stuttering a lot but being nervous. He didn't expect Connor to confess."You're..satisfied with me right? Am I even good enough for you?" Connor exhaled, fiddling with the zipper of his hoodie.
"Of course I am. God, I hope you're satisfied with me." Evan chuckled nervously. He cleared his throat and kissed Connors cheek. "I really do love you Connor."
"I love you too, you beautiful pine." Connor blushed, using the nickname Evan gave him. "Let's get up before my bad boy image is torn to pieces by your soft personality."
Evan rolled his eyes and pulled Connor up from his sitting position. But as soon as he caught his balance, he fell over with a thud.
"That's it, I'm crawling to the bench."
