A few days after the incident, everything was back to normal
They did encounter Minhyun again but brushed him easily
Due to Hyunjins job, the two would meet less often but would make enough time for each other. They'd only meet at the café unfortunately
"When was the last time we went on a date somewhere that wasn't this café"
The two had been sitting in uncomfortable silence and Seungmin wasn't liking it because Hyunjins eyes were glued to his phone instead of him
Hyunjin let out a hum, finally looking up from his device, waiting for Seungmin to repeat his question
"sorry...i was...uh... reading some emails"
"i asked when was the last time we went on a date somewhere that wasn't this café?"
Seungmin had to admit that he was getting slightly annoyed. Hyunjin had been paying more attention to work than him and he felt that they were slowly losing each other
If this went on then maybe their relationship would have a bad ending
"i...don't remember"
Hyunjin replied, looking anywhere but Seungmins angry eyes. The latter crossed his arms clearly showing dissappointment
Hyunjin took note of this and asked,
"I hope you're free this Saturday"
"yeah...why?"
Seungmin asked, still showing annoyance
"I am free and I have a surprise for you"
Seungmin eyes lit up but then he said,
"it better not be another shade of lipstick. I already have like thirty shades thanks to you"
Hyunjin giggled
"no babe. It's something bigger than that"
"yOr diCc?"
"wOt?"
"wAt?"
The two fell silent after that. Hyunjin smiled lightly, leading his hand forward to Seungmins, slowly intertwining their fingers
"it's something i've been working on for us"
He said. Seungmins attitude softened at this. He smiled
"i'll be waiting..."

Seungmin was unsure of what to pick out of his wardrobe for the special day
'should I wear normal clothes? Would a suit be too much?'
That depended on where they were going but Hyunjin didn't tell him to keep it a secret
Seungmin settled with a white button up shirt, light blue jeans rolled up till his ankles and a pastel pink coat to shield him from the cold wind. He decided to let his hair be messy and finally wear white vans
He looked himself in the mirror hearing a whistle from behind him
"Minho!¡¡¿"
He turned around, seeing the elder leaning on his doorway
"heck you look fine"
He said, licking his lips and raising his eyebrows
"iM t3lLiNg jIsUnG¡ he need to control his man"
They were interrupted, thankfully, by the doorbell. Seungmin ran to get the door
The door opened to reveal a well dressed Hyunjin. He was wearing a dark blue suit with a white shirt that was unbuttoned from the top
Seungmin felt that it was showing too much so he quickly buttoned it for him
"I don't want anyone seeing what I should be seeing"
He smirked whereas Hyunjins jaw dropped at how adorable his boyfriend looked
"what? Do i loo-"
"amazing..."
Hyunjin replied, still in awe. Seungmin giggled at his boyfriends behavior
"i know right"
Minho yelled from the living room
"shut up Minho. I'll tell Jisung how unloyal you are"
Hyunjin was still staring at him, unable to pay attention to anything else
"babe? Are we just gonna stand here"
Hyunjin snapped out of his thoughts, blinking a few times. Seungmin started laughing making Hyunjin blush
"so...how are we going and where are we going"
Seungmin asked as they climbed down the stairs
"i brought my dads car and you'll find out"
Hyunjin smirked, putting an arm around the other
Seungmin was loving the attention he was getting from the latter but was getting restless about the surprise
