Under the shadow of night, Nicole sat in her tiny studio apartment, with a laptop she snagged from Laura's apartment after being ambushed. Her bloody tank top now hung on the wall, and she was wearing a clean black one. Her brown hair was cut short. She turned on the damaged laptop, only to find her lock screen was a picture of herself with Laura. They were twelve, and had reached the summit of the dormant volcano in the center of Xiansheng's Island in Japan. Nicole remembered it being the first time Laura had scaled the mountain, and their first bonding moment as friends. She put in a password she grabbed off a fridge inside the apartment. After unlocking the laptop, she accessed the Endgame database. She attempted to search for any possible locations where her friends might have been taken. However, countless dots on the map where Endgame strongholds once stood, glowed red, meaning they had been raided, either by the Elites, CIA, or MI6. None of this information was useful to her. After a few minutes of searching, the computer started beeping in sequences. After a few moments, she realized that the sequence was Morse Code. She recorded the code and ran it through a decoder. The series of dots and lines translated to Sent from Atlantis: Phase 3 begin 7-31-18 at 1400 est. Standby...
Nicole knew what this meant. Another attack was imminent, and only hours away. What do they mean by Atlantis? She thought to herself. But she also knew that Endgame would be pulling back most of its scouts when the attacks begin. She looked at the newspaper clippings on the wall. They shared stories of countries that fell under Endgame's rule. The UK was one of the few countries still fending off the growing invasion, along with the United States, Japan, Canada, Germany, and South Korea. That invasion was about to begin on a much larger scale. Luckily, Nicole had a plan to sneak into Endgame's hidden fortress. She only had a few hours left to prepare for what was to come.
