San Juan, Puerto Rico
1am
At this late hour, most of the Elites had gone to sleep as Grobel continued to work on the newest suits. Sam was out cold at her desk, the computer still running. Suddenly, she started to hear beeping sequences coming from the radio. Samantha was startled awake by the beeping. "Hey Doc? Is it supposed to make this noise?" She asked, yawning. Albert walked over to the desk and listened. "Morse Code...Turn on the decryptors." As the beeping continued, Albert read the translations out loud. "S-E-Sent F-R-O-From A-T-L-A-N-T-I-S...Atlantis? The hell is Atlantis supposed to mean?" Sam interrupted "Wait, there's more. Phase three begin seven dash thirty-one dash eighteen, at fourteen hundred e-s-t. Standby..." Sam knew very well that this could only mean something bad if it was coming from Endgame. It had been weeks since their last attack, when China fell under their control. "We need to get Rob now!" She said.
It only took a couple of minutes for everyone to arrive in the living to get more info. Everyone was stressed and starting to panic. "If I can get you all to calm down for one second so we can plan this out that would be great!" Nobody heard their leader over the overwhelming noise. Suddenly, Albert yelled out "HEY! Can you Dummköpfes shut it for one second PLEASE!?" The room fell in absolute silence, and Robert finally spoke. "I know this seems really bad right now. After looking over Endgame's plans the US and its territories are some of the final strongholds remaining in the world. Don't think of this as the end of our downfall, but as a window of opportunity." Caleb sat in the corner, and started to play Ecstacy of Gold on the TV, which got a few laughs. "This might be the way we finally burn Endgame to the ground. Their soldiers have to be coming from somewhere. We just need to find out where they come from." The music started to become more intense as Robert went further into his speech. "If we can hide away aboard one of their vessels, it can take us into the belly of the beast. We can kill Endgame from the inside. We can put an end to it here and now if we come together. That's how we'll beat them, and we'll take every chance we get until we succeed, or die trying." The music peaked as he finished the sentence. The others were pumped up, for the first time in months they actually felt a sense of hope." Zariah quickly brought them back to reality, asking "So what exactly is the plan?" Robert then said calmly. "Puerto Rico is most likely one of Endgame's targets. If so we need to act strategically. We'll need to split up into two teams. I'll lead team one to find Commander Taylor, and find out everything he knows about Endgame. Bismuth, and Inferno will come with me. Lovelock, you'll stay here with Silicon, Punk and McKay to monitor for any further Endgame activity. Once they make it to the shore, you need to get to their docking zone, signal us and we'll get to you all as soon as we can. In the meantime, secure one of their vessels so we can get inside unseen. Once we're inside Endgame's citadel, we can free the other Elites. With all of us in one place, we'll actually stand a chance at beating them." Zariah interrupted saying "If we take out the heart, everything else will fall too. They won't have the chance to expand any more. That can work." Robert turned to Albert Grobel, and asked "How much longer until the suits are done? We need to act on this as soon as we can." Albert replied "Everyone else's suits are done, and the software is uploading now. The software for your suit is much more complex, and it's gonna take a couple more hours to perfect." Robert said "C'mon dude you're killin' me right now." Albert replied "You can't rush perfection! If so much as one piece is out of place the entire suit could fail! I'll get it done, and I'm gonna do it right."
At dawn, the Elites were preparing for their final stand. They were all suited up in their upgraded uniforms. Lovelock wore a gunmetal grey suit, with azure accents around the eyes, shoulders, and belt. Pulverized Punk wore a camo-green suit. Inferno wore a solid red suit with golden accents. McKay wore deep blue with orange accents. Bismuth wore snow white with purple, green, and blue accents. Silicon was in a silver suit with light green detailing resembling a circuit. His suit was thinner, since it was meant to be the base of his totaled combat armor instead of regular combat. He was working on Stone, who was wearing his suit while it was plugged into his computer. Stone's suit was all gunmetal grey, with tiny metallic blades covering the torso and arms. "All your suits are equipped with my newest Heads-Up Displays. It will allow you to interface with most electronics, and will serve as a medium for all communications." Silicon said. "Stone's suit is the central component. He will be able to monitor all of your locations, vitals, and speak to any of you individually. On top of that, his suit is the first one to have embedded grappling hooks, and each of the tiny spikes along his suit can serve as projectiles, or even weapons." Stone replied "Please hurry up so we can get started we're losing daylight." Suddenly, he felt a pulse throughout his entire body. "I just calibrated the nanites so that they're motion controlled." Silicon said. "Hold your left middle finger and thumb to arm the grappling hook, and punch to release. To use the sword, quickly swing your right forearm downwards. The spikes can be shot off by quickly extending your arms out with your hands flat. You have to do the gestures perfectly for them to work, but it's nothing impossible."
As the sun rose, stone, Bismuth, Inferno, and Punk piled into Stone's Dodge and headed into downtown San Juan, while Silicon, Lovelock, and McKay stayed behind. Lovelock quickly went into her room to try and find any operatives, while Silicon searched for possible docking locations along the coast.
