my parents got divorced when i was 12 because my mum had an affair. then my mum ended up marrying the guy she had an affair with and they had a three kids together. my mum was more focused on her new family and began to disregard me, so i decided i wanted to live with my dad instead. my mum didn't want me to though so they through this whole custody battle, but in the end they gave my dad custody. it really took a toll on a lot of things in my life though

~Stella's pov~

"Stel who are you texting" my friend Emily asked grabbing my phone, I snatched it back from her immediately.

"Just a friend" I answered nonchalantly.

"Are you texting that Harry guy again?" she asked mockingly laughing at me.

"Yeah, why does it matter to you?"

Emily was one of the people that I just kept around because I was desperate for friends. Emily was nosy, irritating and she constantly wanted to meddle in other people's lives. She always was attempting to humiliate everyone in an effort to make herself feel better.

"I can tell this Harry guy is probably a total rapist, so stop being so hung up on him." She said scoffing as if I was the most ridiculous person in the world.

"Emily he's not a rapist, and he's one of the realest guy's I've ever talked to. I bet he's as great in person as he is over text"

"No he won't be you're completely naive. This is infatuation. You're simply infatuated by the thought of him, and its completely unrealistic. You need to move on with your life, you're going to college soon." She told me rather rudely. I was actually offended by the tone she used, she made me feel completely idiotic for having any hope he was a normal person. He felt more real then any guy I had ever talked to at school, so I couldn't shake this overwhelming sense of hope I had.

"You say that now but I'll show you" I told her.
