CHAPTER V: Good Morning!

I woke up to a screeching so loud I thought my eardrums were about to burst.

"Oh my fucking-SHIT- fuck! I can't believe this is happening to me, what the fuck is the point in a ten step Korean skin care routine if I wake up to find a fucking volcano on my face!" The banshee had awoken and begun her torment on my poor, virgin ears.

"What the fuck is your problem," I muttered, pulling a spare pillow over my face, "it's-" glancing at the clock in my bedside table, "-five in the morning!" I wondered if I had it in me to push the pillow down and end it all.

"I need at least three hours to get ready, I need to look stunning, I'm meeting by boyfriend at lunch," Aimmée said, staring at the mirror, trying to get rid of the pimple via the force, "fuck" she whispered.

"Aimmée," She looked my way, narrowing her eyes slightly, "I honestly could not care less, shut the fuck up, s'il vous plaît," I got up from my bed and started taken out some running stuff from the armoire, "btw that means 'please' en français." I smiled mockingly as went to take a quick shower.

A faint 'fuck you' was heard as our room door was slammed shut, oops.

Finishing the shower I decided to take a quick run around the campus, might as well seeing I'm already up. Maybe I could run round a certain soccer pitch, see a certain someone again. I laughed at myself, quickening the pace as I ran through the courtyard at the heart of the school.

The campus wasn't that bad when you looked at it properly. The building were old, but in a majestic sense, old with wisdom and knowledge. The architecture, very gothic. An absolutely beautiful collection of buildings. The further I went the more green I saw, tall trees lined the pathway and hundreds of shrubs. Each shrub contained an assortment of flowers and each flower as beautiful as the next, the gardeners in this place sure had there work cut out for them, that's for sure. The masses of green and white that surrounded Arizona was in stark contrast to Cali, they're both beautiful, but in a different way. California had the beaches, the broad walks, the stunning sunrises and sunsets, where myriads of colours all swirled together making the perfect beginning or end to a day. But this was equally as beautiful with the white snowflakes , glistening ice, and the forests and lakes I was beginning to get used to.

The thud of my shoes as they hit the hard pavement soothed me, the steady beat helping me clear my head. I thought about what my Mother and Father would be doing. How different is it at home now that I'm gone, would it even be different for them? Do they- do they even care?

Father would probably be getting his breakfast in bed, by the maid of course. And Mother, Mother could be a number of places, at the personal trainer's, the pool boy's, the gardener's, the kitchen aid's, the kitchen aid's son's, the list really is endless.

Or maybe she was at home, listening to what goes on behind the doors of 'their' bedroom, bottle in hand. I don't know why they keep referring to that room as 'theirs', they haven't shared a bed in a couple of years, but it's none of my business.

Nothing seems to be any of my business. Even deciding that I was being sent halfway across the country was none of my business.

I was so preoccupied by the thoughts in my head I didn't realise that I had bumped into a very hard chest. Warm arms steadied me as I gathered my bearings and realised that it was the same boy from yesterday, Hunter.

"Hey, if it isn't Sexy," he chuckled at his little joke, baring his perfect white teeth, whilst I was admiring the the prominent veins snaking underneath his bare arms.

"Ha ha, what a funny guy (!)" I said shaking my head, smiling slightly.

"Why are you up so earlier?" Hunter asked, his VERY well toned arms still around me, oh gosh I'm such a perv.

"My roommate decided to become an alarm clock," Removing myself from his warm embrace, I inhaled and got a fair smell of his musk, "thus, I awoke earlier and am here, on a run, well I was anyway."

"Ergh, roommates, strange creatures." Rolling his eyes, "So when did you get into running?"

Is he trying to get to know me? "My mum originally, but now I just do it in the mornings, I do athletics and all of that sort of stuff," licking my lips I continue, "or in the evenings, just depends on how I'm feeling, or if I can be bothered to be honest." I glanced up at him, admiring his full lips, correction: very full lips.

"Cool." he mumbled, looking quite uninterested as a sudden flurry of messages came up on his phone, "Fuck." he whispered, he looked up at me and said "Ive got to go Sexy, see you later, maybe we have a class together yeah?" A worried look flashed through his features as he started replying, his fingers working incredibly fast, I wonder what else his fingers could do ygm.

"Sure thing," I said, about to continue my run, "See you in class."

Turning on my heel I began a slow jog, intrigued by our little conversation, and wanting to know what it was to make him look quite so worried. "Stop being nosey." I said to myself as I went faster, making a U-turn back to my dorms.  Glancing at my watch I saw that it was six thirty, giving me enough time to have another quick shower and to get ready for eight.

Hopefully I'll enjoy the first day of school, God I hope I do.

Looking over my shoulder, I hoped to see Hunter appear, a fools wish. I've know this boy for less then a day and was practically stalking him, get a grip Circe! Shaking my head once more I climbed up the stairs to my dorm and started to get ready for my first class of the day.
