Chapter 6

We walked over to the ruined Mother of Invention, what we saw though had to be the oddest but the most interesting group of people. We had found the Reds and Blues, they had taken to call the old ship home.

"Where is mah bloode shotgun at now?!" We heard a familiar country accent guy yell.

"Sarge, you put it on your back." A guy in maroon armor reply.

"Haha! Found ya, no thanks to ya, Simmons!"

"Guys, I want some cookies! Where at the cookies?!" A guy in blue armor cried, he honesty sounded adorable by how he called out where the cookies were.

"Caboose! They're not here! They're in the mess hall!" A teal guy yell.

I was trying so hard not to laugh at what I was watching. Jaden and Kate were dead already. Jace smirked underneath his helmet and face palmed as he said. "I can get along with these guys."

"Holy shoot, Locus?!" Someone in orange armor said seeing us.

My uncle sighed as he remembered encountering this guy and regretted ever meeting him. Then we heard the oddest music as we saw a guy come up in a warthog (song above). The man had a set of black and red armor similar to Jaden's we were all confused as we heard the music and the first thing Kate asked is. "What the heck is that noise?"

"The good ol' Red's battle music, missah!" We heard the country guy reply as he came up the hill wit the others including a guy in pink armor.

"Yeah, now I love this music."

"Hehe! Knew you were a red!"

The guy with the similar armor to Jaden's set got out and said. "Who are these guys?"

My uncle rubbed the back of his neck and sighed.

"You brought the kids?!"

"Hey, let me explain..."

"You son of a -"

The guy went to lunge for my uncle but I aimed my rifle up and fired a round and yelled. "We're all friends here! Calm down, ladies!"

They all looked at me as calmly put my rifle on my back and heard Theta said. [These guys are definitely gonna like you.]

Theta, what do you mean? I asked him in confusion.

"That chick knows how to stop West from murdering Locus, she must be a bada**." The teal guy said.

I cocked up an eyebrow in confusion at what he meant. I was just trusting my gut on how to stop them from killing one another. I soon heard West ask. "Where did you get my set?!"

I turned to see he was talking to Jaden, Jaden removed his helmet and said. "Look, buddy. I don't think you realize the-"

"J-Jaden?!"

Jaden was confused as heck at the guy's reaction then I started to see the similarities between them. West walked over and removed the hair covering Jaden's left eye, he had a Nova Eye, it is basically the result of someone's body reacting to the chemical explosion of a super nova and surviving or they inherited it from someone who went through such a event.

Jaden's eyes widened as he said. "Dad?"

"Dad?! West, ya had ah kid?!" The red guy said.

Next thing I saw was the West remove his helmet and saw the nova eyes and saw him tearing up, man I don't like it when a grown man cried but this was touching. West hugged Jaden, taking him in his embrace as he cried. "Son..." Jaden smiled and closed his eyes, a tear ran down his cheek. I smiled to see Jaden happy as he had found his father.
