"Hey Aja, how are you?"
"Fine, why are you here?"
"I wanted to see you, can we talk?"
"What's there to talk about? you want to talk about your little whore? or you want to tell me to my face why you cheated on me instead of running like a fucking coward that you are?!"
"Aja please I don't know why I cheated on you! I was stupid to let you go! but please I really want to talk to you"
"Dan can you leave us alone"
"Yeah I love you"
I gave him a small smile an he left the room.
"Ok what do you want to talk about?"
"I want to have one more chance with you"
"No! you had your chances but you screwed them up! Feel free to go fuck your whore now!"
I left the room in tears. "Are you alright?"
"I'm fine"
"Do you want to go for a walk?"
"Can we?"
"Yeah"
We left the house. dan put his arm around me.
"Don't worry! I'm here for you and ill never leave you again"
"I know! it just hurt so much to see Daniel!"
We walked in silence.
"Shit!"
"What?"
"I didn't go look at the apartment!"
"You can always move in with us"
"Is Daniel going to live with you guys?"
"Nah he has his own place"
"But your going on tour next week"
"Wait, you weren't planning on going on tour with us?"
"I guess I didn't think of that"
"But are you coming?"
"I don't know, maybe ill just stay here and wait for you guys to finish touring. I already finished my tour so ill just stay here"
"No! you have to come! I can't be away from you for a year or even longer!"
He hugged me so tightly. "Please come with us, I can't be away from you for that long"
"Do you really want me to go that bad?"
"Yeah"
"I guess ill go"
"Yay! Lets get back home, so are you going to move in?"
"I don't know.... maybe ill just stay here for a while and then when you guys finish touring then ill find a place"
"No! you have to move in! please!"
"I don't know! let me think about it"
We went back to the house and Daniel walked up to me.
"Are you okay?"
"I'm fine! dan I'm going to watch tv, you wanna come?"
"Yeah"
We walked upstairs to his room.
"What do you wanna watch?"
"Anything is fine"
"You need to cheer up! how about Identity Thief"
When it was over he turned it off and looked me in the eyes.
"Your getting depressed again"
"Why would you say that?"
"Your not eating, you've barely said a word, and you're completely ignoring me and everybody else around you, don't think I didn't notice you not paying attention to the movie"
"I don't know what your talking about, you know how to cheer me up"
"Of course I know how to cheer you up!"
He leaned into me and kissed me. (you know what happens next)
I woke up and dan wasn't next to me. I put on my clothes and went to the guest bedroom to see if dan was in there. I knocked on the door. nobody answered. I walked in but nobody was in there.
Where did Daniel and dan go? "Ryan! Ben! Wayne!"
Nobody answered. where the hell is everybody?
I went upstairs and showered. when I got out I brushed my hair and watched tv. I heard someone opening the garage. I walked over and opened the door.
"Where were you guys?" I questioned Ryan.
"Dan went to the store so we all went"
"Where's dan?"
"Car"
"Is something wrong with him?"
"No he's just talking to Daniel"
"Oh did you guys already eat?"
"Yeah, you?"
"No I'm not hungry"
"Can I talk to you in private?"
"Yeah sure"
We went into the living room because everyone was still in the garage.
"Are you still in love with Daniel or are you just mad at him? Because I can tell your getting depressed and you don't get depressed over something small, so what's wrong?"
"I'm not depressed!"
"Yes you are! tell me why! Do you still love Daniel?"
"No"
"You hate him?"
"No"
"Then what do you feel for him!"
"I don't know that's the thing! I'm still trying to figure things out! I'm not depressed I'm just need time to think!"
"But are you okay?"
"I'm fine!"
"I just don't want you getting hurt again by some guy okay?"
"Thank you for being concerned for me but I can take care of myself, your really sweet but I just need some time alone, to think. nothing personal"
"I get it. just take care of yourself"
"I will don't worry"
I walked back to the garage and dan opened the door.
"Hey Aja!"
"Dan! hey!"
"I got these for you" he handed me a lot of roses and a letter.
"What's this for?"
"Just because I love you! these aren't as beautiful as you but they'll have to do, read the letter!"
I smiled and opened the letter.
Dear Aja,
You are the most beautiful girl in the world! I've never met anyone like you. you stay by my side no matter what. when I hurt you, you stay with me. you're the love of my life. Nothing can keep us apart. we have the weirdest relationship, we break up and then always somehow get back together. I finally realized that Im nothing without you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I know we've tried this before but this time I'm a different person and so are your your still the same girl I fell in love with in high school, but your now an even more beautiful girl. I know what I want in life and that's you. if I can't have you ill go crazy. same words you said to me, and now I know what you mean, thank you for always being by my side. I love you. -Dan
I looked up at dan an smiled. I hugged him and kissed him softly.
"I love you"
"This time ill be different" I nodded.
"Aja please don't stay with dan"
"Daniel, I don't love you anymore! get over it! your the one who screwed it up so don't expect me to get back with you!"
"I'm sorry"
"I know you are, just forget about it"
"Can we start over as friends?"
"Of course"
We both gave a weak smile.
