* Chapter 2* Meeting His Daughter (Part2)

The next day Divya was getting ready for school. She ran downstairs and ran into the kitchen. Bela said" Come on let's go your getting late!" Has they walked through the house Divya looked on the pictures on the wall and asked Bela" Mom why are there just pictures of you and I but no pictures of papa?" On hearing this Bela got scared and answered " Well because you don't have a father beta." Bela then grabbed Divya arm and left the house. She dropped her off at school and left. Bela went to work with what Divya said on her mind. Bela said to herself " Divya is growing up and she is getting even more curious about about Mahir, but what do I tell her? If I tell her about Mahir she would want to meet him and if she does he wouldn't accept her has his daughter. What do I do?" Later, Divya left school and went home. She changed and she then got a call from her friend Suhaani. She said" Divya come over to my house I have something really awesome to show you!" Divya agreed and left the house. On her way she saw a puppy and ran to it. While running she almost got hit by a car when Mahir saved her. They stared into each other's eyes. She then broke the silence by saying" Thank you uncle." Mahir then said " It's okay beta but be careful next time okay and by the way what is your name?" Divya replied " My name is Divya Kapoor and yours?" Mahir answered " Mine is Mahir Sehgal." Divya then ran away remembering that she was suppose to go to her friend's house. Mahir watched has she ran away. He thought to himself " Why whenever I meet this girl I feel so connected to her. She runs just like Bela." He then came back to his senses and left. In the night at Bela's house Divya said to Bela" Mom today I almost got hit by a car but luckily a man saved me. He asked for my name and I gave it to him and when I asked for his he said that his name was Mahir Sehgal." On hearing Divya's words Bela was left shocked. Her biggest nightmare was coming true. Bela tried really hard to keep Divya away from Mahir but it seems like destiny has something else in stored.
