*Chapter 7* Kidnapped

In the night, Divya got up and went downstairs for some water. She walked into the kitchen and poured some water into a glass. After drinking some water Divya left. On her way back to her room, someone grab her and covered her mouth. She tried to fight them but she passed out.

In the morning, Bela, Mahir and Andy sat around the dining table and ate breakfast. Mahir then asked" Bela where is Divya? She never sleeps this late." Bela said" Probably she is upstairs let me check." Bela got up and went upstairs. Bela entered Divya's room and saw that she wasn't there. She called her name but got no answer. Bela got worried and decided to check the whole house. She check everywhere but didn't find Divya. She went to Mahir and said" Mahir Divya is no where to be found. I check everywhere but she isn't here. I don't know where she is. What if she got kidnapped?" Mahir said"Calm down Bela. Divya must be somewhere around here." Bela said" But Mahir I checked everywhere but she is not in the house." Mahir got worried.

Divya woke up and found herself tied to a chair. She looked around and wondered where she was. Sumitra then walked into the room and said" Divya welcome to hell." Divya said" Dadi why are you doing this?" She said" Because you told Mahir and Bela our little secret! I told you not to and now you will have to pay!" Sumitra walked over to Divya and stabbed her in her arm. Divya screamed in pain. Sumitra said" Does that hurt? You have more to get." A man suddenly walks into the room and Divya looked on him. She said" You!"

Mahir and Bela tried calling all of Divya's friend's to see if she was at their house but got no luck. They were out of options. Bela sat on the sofa and said" I bet that Sumi maa did this. I bet she kidnapped Divya. I won't spare her!" Mahir said" Bela don't worry we will find Divya. Sumitra can't hurt Divya. After all Divya is her granddaughter." Bela said" Sumitra can hurt her. All she wants is the naagmani. She will do anything to get it even if she kills Divya. I won't let her hurt my daughter!"

The man walks closer and closer to Divya and she said" Yuvaraj chachu!" He said" Yes me, your uncle. Happy to see me." Divya said" So you are in this. You are a naagin too." He said " Yes my dear Divya I am a naagin too. I also want the naagmani. Now tell us where is it!" She said" I don't know." He said" Where is the naagmani?" She said" I don't know." He grabbed her hair and yelled" Don't acted dumb I know that you know where is the naagmani! Now tell me!" Divya said in pain" I told you I don't know where it is!" Sumitra said" She won't tell us that easily. Get the peppers." Fear ran down Divya's spine when she heard Sumitra's words. Yuvaraj came back with the peppers and Sumitra took up one. Divya asked in fear" What are you going to do?" Sumitra smirked and rubbed the pepper into the stab wound on Divya's arm. Divya screamed in pain. Yuvaraj said" Now tell us where is the naagmani!" Divya said in pain" I don't know!"

Bela suddenly felt has if Divya got hurt. Mahir asked" Bela is everything okay?" She said" I felt like Divya got hurt. Mahir I want to find my daughter she is in pain I can feel it." Mahir said" I know you want to find her. I also want to but the police are working on it. They will find her." Bela hugged Mahir.

Yuvaraj yelled" Where is the naagmani?" Divya said" I don't know. " Sumitra said" Divya stop acting dumb and tell us!" Divya said" Chachu, dadi I truly don't know where the naagmani is. Please let me go. I promise I won't tell anyone. Please let me go." Yuvaraj and Sumitra laughed. Yuvaraj said" I am sorry but we can't let you go until you tell us where is the naagmani." Divya said" Chachu I don't know where is the naagmani. Please let me go." Sumitra said" Yuvaraj go for the hot water. Let us see if she will tell us now." Divya said" Please dadi no I beg of you please. I am telling the truth I don't know where is the naagmani." Yuvaraj came back with the hot water and Sumitra threw it on Divya's legs. She screamed in pain. Sumitra held her by her neck and said" Now tell us where is the naagmani?" Divya said" I don't know." She suddenly black out.

The police came to Mahir and Bela's house and told them that they have found Divya's location by tracking her phone. Mahir and Bela were glad and left with the police. They arrived at an old house in the jungle. Mahir yelled" Divya! Divya where are you? Divya!"

Sumitra and Yuvaraj heard Mahir's voice. Yuvaraj said" Mom we have to leave." Sumitra untied Divya and threw her over her shoulder. They left the house and ran through the jungle. Mahir and Bela saw a house and the police kicked down the door. They searched everywhere but didn't find Divya. Bela then saw the back door open. She said" What if they ran that way." They ran out the door and yelled" Divya! Divya! Divya!"

On hearing her name, Divya woke up and yelled" Mom! Dad! Help me!" Sumitra puts her down and covered her mouth and hid behind a tree. Mahir and Bela heard her voice and ran towards where her voice was coming from. They looked around and saw no one. Divya stepped on Sumitra's foot and ran towards Mahir and Bela. She yelled" Mom! Dad!" They turned around and saw Divya. Yuvaraj said" If someone moves Divya will get shot!" Mahir said" Yuvaraj please stop this! Divya is your niece!" Yuvaraj said" And so? All I want is the naagmani! Now Bela, sorry I mean naagrani tell me where is the naagmani?" Bela said" I will tell you if you promise you won't shoot Divya." Sumitra said" He won't shot Divya Bela. Just tell us where is the naagmani?" The police slowly came from their hiding place and shot Sumitra and Yuvaraj. They staggered backwards and fell off the cliff. Divya ran to Mahir and Bela and hugged them tightly. Mahir said" Look on your condition. They tortured my princess." Divya said" Don't worry mom will fix it." Bela put her hands on Divya's wounds and heeled them. After, they went home.
