*Chapter 16* Not My Children

In the afternoon, everyone was sitting in the living playing cards. Suddenly there was a knock on the door. Rehan went and answered it. There were two girls around the age of 12,13 standing at the door. One of them said" Uncle we want to see Ananya aunty." Rehan said" Sure come inside." They walked in and Rehan said" Ananya beta come here someone wants to see you." Ananya walked over to Rehan and the girls ran to Ananya and said" Mom." Everyone was hell shocked. Ananya said" I am sorry but there must a misunderstanding." One of them said" No aunty, you are our mom." Bela said" How is this possible? Ananya isn't even married. How can she have children?" Ananya said" This must be a mistake, but you girls aren't my children. Actually I have no children." Mahir went over to them and asked" Beta what are your names?" They said" Neharika and Gaurika." Mahir said" Okay then Neharika and Gaurika, we will find your parents." Neharika said" But uncle, Ananya aunty is our mother." Ananya said" This is a misunderstanding, I am not your mother." Rehan said" Don't worry, we will do a DNA test." Bela said" But where are they going to stay?" Ananya said" They can stay here until we find out whether or not Ananya is their mother." Divya said" Then let's go to the doctor and do the test." They then left and went to the doctor.

After, they went back home. Ananya took Neharika and Gaurika to the guest room and said" You guys will stay here for the next two days." They then hugged Ananya and said" We love you mom." Ananya smiled and said" Okay I have to go now." Saying that she left. Neharika and Gaurika walked around the room checking it out. They then burst out in laughter. Gaurika said" Wow Neharika, our acting was great. We need to tell uncle." Gaurika then pulled out her phone and called someone.
Call:
Gaurika: Hello uncle, our plan is working.
Person: Good. Now keep up the act and remember, don't get caught.
Gaurika: Don't worry uncle, we won't get caught. She will be in your clutches very soon, but she will be a little injured.
Person: Don't injure her too much. I want her in one piece.
Gaurika: Don't worry uncle, she will be in one piece.
Person: Good, now hang up before someone comes.
Call ended

Neharika and Gaurika had a devilish smirk on their faces. They said" Get ready to face hell Ananya aunty, we mean mom."

Two Days Later
The test came back and everyone was tensed. Divya opened the envelope and her eyes grew wide. Ananya said" What happen mom? Tell us." Divya said" Ananya, you are their mother." Ananya's eyes grew wide. She took two steps back and said" How is this possible? I'm not married and neither do I have a boyfriend, then how are they my children?" Neharika and Gaurika then ran and hugged Ananya. Shivanya said to herself" But how is this possible? There is something wrong. I must go to Baba and ask him."

Later that day, Ananya was walking, but suddenly someone pushed her. She tripped and fell down the stairs. Everyone rushed over to her and helped her. They took her to her room and called the doctor. Meanwhile, Neharika and Gaurika stood there with a wicked smile on their faces. Neharika said" One down, one to go." The doctor checked Ananya and said" She will be fine. She just suffered a head injury but she will be okay." Divya asked" Then Ananya beta how did you fall?" Ananya said" Someone pushed me. I don't know who." Neharika and Gaurika then rushed in the room and said" Mom are you okay?" Ananya smiled and said" Your mother is fine, but she is in a little pain." Gaurika said" Don't worry we will make it better." They then kissed her forehead.

In the night
Ananya was sleeping when she felt someone's arms around her waist. She turned around and saw no one. She then started to shake. She closed her eyes in fear. Someone then used a knife and stab Ananya in her arm. She jumped with a jerk and screamed. She looked around the room but saw no one. She came off the bed and ran to the door. She tried to open it but failed. Everyone got up on hearing Ananya's scream. They tried to open the door but couldn't Ananya yelled" Mom! Dad! Open the door! Dadi! Dadu! Please open the door!" They tried everything but the door wasn't opening. Suddenly, someone hit Ananya over the head and she fell to the floor. The door opened and they found Ananya on the floor. They then called the doctor. Meanwhile, Neharika and Gaurika were smiling. Gaurika said" Wow Neharika, your plan was great." Neharika said" My plans are always great. Now all we need to do is tell uncle that he can finish the rest of the plan.
