PROLOGUE 2

"I don't need to be her Knight in shining armour. Or her prince riding in a white horse,
Just being her shoulder to cry on is enough for me.
Or neither the kind of a friend she can approach easily, Pat.. Alam mo yung feeling na kahit di ako yung meant to be prince nya, o mas worse yung taong totoong nagpapasaya sakanya, lahat yun tanggap ko, at kailangan kong tanggapin kahit ayaw ng puso ko. Yung sasapat nalang sakin ang makita sya kahit na di araw araw, yung mahalin nalang sya ng tahimik sa isang sulok. Kase kahit na sabihin ng bibig nya na MAHAL niya ako, pero kitang kita ko naman sa mga mata niya na ang tunay niyang mahal ay siya at di ako."

"Masakit oo, pero dahil mahal ko siya, I need to accept this reality that I'm into, this hurtful things I'm going thru.
  And I know one day. Darating din yung araw na I need to set her free. To let go of her hand, to stop being her shoulder to cry on, to be the friend who can listen to her 24/7 coz he(Edward) will do this whole things even the rest that I haven't said. One day, he will take all this responsibilities from me. And take away the woman of my life for the past two years.
And here I am preparing until that day happens."

Pat just shrugs her shoulder and tap my back, she then give me a consoling hug from behind.

"My friend Edward, for less than 3 years. Siya parin at sakanya parin talaga, my bestfriend Ed, once again magpaparaya ako para sa ikakasaya niyung dalawa."

I was almost at the end of holding back my tears, while telling Pat all of this.
Its really tearing me apart inside, but what can I do? This is reality, this is the path I chose, the kind if love I chose, and its really painful. But there's nothing I can do about it. I'm not selfish, and I will never be, for her, to my everything, to the love of my life, to my beloved Chie,
All this is for you, I love You Sechie. And I will always will,
