So this is something new. I couldn't think of anything to write in Kat's POV when I did this. I thought it would be fun to see what our men are actually thinking. I still don't know who I like better. Let me know who you prefer!

Aiden’s POV

As I drove Katalina to her office building, my mind was reeling from the events last night and to the information I learned about her this morning. I look over at her, and she’s staring out the window, deep in thought. Somehow, she’s a totally different girl than the one that I knew more than a month ago.

I pull up to the building and see her valet, Timothy, open the door. She looks over at me, giving me a small smile, says thanks and gets out. I stay there for a while and watch her until she is safely in the building. Then I drive off to my office building.

As soon as I get there, I head straight into my office, instructing John to hold all my calls and only tell me when Marcus has arrived. I sit in my chair and lean back, looking out into the Seattle skyline.

I remember first running into Katalina, almost getting into a car accident with her. I was running late to a meeting that day until her car showed up out of nowhere. I was pissed, and her loud, angry yelling wasn’t helping. When she took off her sunglasses, I was totally taken aback.

She looked just like Claire, my ex. The girl I was in love with for so long. The girl who changed my view of the world and made me experience life the fun way. The girl that I was sure I was going to ask to spend the rest of my life with me.

But she was also the girl who broke my heart. Sleeping with one of my friends on our anniversary night. The same night I was going to ask her to marry me. I was just coming back from a business trip and I found her at my apartment with him.

Seeing Katalina brought all that back. When I saw her again later that night at dinner, and my parents dropped the bomb about the arrange marriage, I couldn’t think properly. I knew it was going to benefit us in the long run if we merge with MGE. I had done research on Katalina, shocked on what I found. I instantly knew what her reaction would be. No girl would want to be in an arrange marriage. Typically, she’d want to marry for love.

But I vowed to myself that I would immerse myself in the business after what happened with Claire. I could blackmail Katalina into the deal. In the back of my mind, it felt as if I was taking revenge on Claire since their looks were so similar.

Every moment I spent with Katalina, I saw that she was nothing like Claire. Her attitude was just so out there. I noticed that she carried herself with confidence and would say what’s on her mind. She was quick with her comebacks whenever I annoyed her or teased her. She balanced her high school career and the business well. She didn’t seem like your ordinary eighteen year old girl. She seemed so much older than that.

But last night was the second time I was taken aback with this girl. I couldn’t keep my eyes off of her. I’ll admit, she looked gorgeous in that midnight blue number, but when she gave her speech, I could tell her demeanor changed as she talked about domestic violence and how it was close to her family’s heart.

I was confused. From what I heard, Dominic and Eliza Masters aren’t the type to get violent with their children nor with each other. Something was off.
