Run Away and Back Again

Hiccup's long time crush said to him with her axe pointing at him. He lay there on the ground. He saved both of them from a Gronckle, or merely saved the Gronckle from Astrid.

Hiccup just stared at Astrid, those eyes he knew that was full of anger and shame for him. He could hear the other teens laughing at his antics, some were annoyed because he was nothing but trouble.

Trouble

Burden

Pain

..To his father's eyes he was a burden. He couldn't kill a dragon but he did shot down a Night Fury. Nobody listened to him nor even believed him, not even his own father would understand him.

To the villager's eyes he was Hiccup the usless

He wasn't built like viking, not like his father very buffed. He wasn't like Snotlout, big beefy arms. He wasn't like Fishlegs, Hiccup's smart but he wished he was big like him. He wasn't like Astrid, strong and brave.

He's thin, scrawny, weak and a talking fishbone. Who could have want a viking like him. Or was he even a viking himself?

Suddenly he got up and faced Astrid. Astrid was surprised with the sudden action but then Hiccup started to run way from her.

"Hey! Come back here"

"Hiccup where are you going?!" Gobber shouted.

Astrid chased Hiccup.

Hiccup carried his legs as fast as he could, even though he was a fishbone he could still run as fast as the wind.

He needed to get out here, fly away with Toothless, find a new land to settle. He knew he doesn't belong here and it's the best for everyone on Berk.

"No one runs away from me Haddock!"

Hiccup heard Astrid coming near, he needs a diversion. He lead her to the plaza where there were lots of viking getting themselves busy. It was a great diversion and within minutes Hiccup lost Astrid.

'I need my stuff with me' Hiccup thought so he quickly turned his way to his house.

Meanwhile, Astrid was caught on a sheep traffic. She cursed under her breath.

"Hiccup! Hiccup!" She angrily shouted.

She punched the wall of someone else's stall and then wiped her sweat away. As she looked at the dent she made on the stall she looked up. This was Bucket's house.

House...house...HOUSE!

Her eyes widen for a second then grabbed her axe. She followed the trail going to the Chief's house.

Minutes later she could see the Chief's house up the hill and by the window she sees...

"HIIICCUUPP!!! How dare you ran away from me."

Hiccup heard the mad valkyrie headed up the hill. He couldn't bring all his notes so he grabbed the most important stuffs. His journal, pencil and all his Toothless stuff along with some clothes.

He was about to take the stairs going down from his room when suddenly Astrid opened the door with her foot. It was her first time to enter their house. Luckily there was a stair leading up to the second floor revealing Hiccup's room.

As she got up no one was there, she was surprised because as she got to the window she saw Hiccup running to the woods 'He's got fast feet for a scrawny viking'

Hiccup must loose Astrid from his tail, he can't the risk for Astrid to see that he was actually helping a dragon, a Night Fury to be exact.

"Hiccup come back here I'm not through with you"

He could hear Astrid coming closer again

"oh you are so dead Haddock"

"Damn it I'm almost there" he said to himself.

Hiccup was at Raven Point, a few sprints more and he's at the cove. He can't risk for Astrid to see Toothless, not at this state where she's chasing him to death. He needs to loose her again but how? How could he loose her?

Suddenly an idea came to him.

Hey there guys I dont usually do this AN but I could at least explain this story. I got the idea from 2 HTTYD inspired stories. one from one of our Wattpaders Zero-King his story is titled Run Away and one from the Fanfiction Net titled There and Back Again by Sullyranger.

Read Run Away cuz that story catch my attention so much that i had to make one toooooo hihi Sullyranger's story was way freaking awesome that i suggest you read that too. Although the story isnt finished yet so i keep myself updated.
