Chapter 1

                               9 Years Later
                                  Iris's POV
         I sat at my office chair doing some paperwork for my business. I now run a Restaurant Business called The Flowers Of Food. I made sure everything is actually hand made, and there are no short cuts. If we make more than needed it then goes to a Homeless shelter. Which I make sure we make more than needed just for that purpose.
         Katie and Michael are fifteen now and Michael is now 6'4 while Katie stands at 5'6. They are both taller than me Michael by a foot and Katie by two inches. Michael plays sports and Katie does too. Michael plays Football, Basketball, and Baseball. Katie plays Volleyball, Soccer, and Softball.
         I also am doing Foster Care. I have adopted six more kids recently and I am working on adopting two more kids. I adopted triplets Ava, Conner, and Paul two years after adopting Katie and Michael. Ava, Conner, and Paul are eleven now, and they were three when they were brought to me. All three have brown hair and green eyes. I adopted them when they were four. Katie and Michael were eight when I adopted the triplets.
While I was working on adopting the triplets Jacob, who is now a Social Worker. Brought me William, who was two months old when his mother was arrested for selling drugs. I ended up knowing how it feels to have a baby and loved it. Despite the lack of sleep I got durning my second year of college. I then the following week after adopting the triplets adopted William. William is now nine years old, and is a handsome young boy. He has blonde hair and blue eyes, and he has been trying to get me to let him have a streak of red in his hair.
One year after adopting William, Jacob brought me Allie, Allie is seven soon to be eight. Allie has red hair and green eyes with light freckles under her eyes and on her nose. She was brought to me when she was five came from an abusive household. But Allie didn't come alone she came with her older brother Ryan.
Ryan is eleven too like the triplets. He has red hair like Allie and hazel colored eyes. He also has freckles and is a hot head unlike Allie, who is sweet and kind. Ryan and Allie had been separated and I told Jacob, he had to bring Ryan to my house. Which he did and I adopted them both two months later. After Ryan and I had a coming to Jesus meeting.
Seven months ago Jacob brought me a toddler named Belle. Like from Beauty and The Beast. Belle is two years old and her mother was killed by her father. So her father is in jail now. Belle has black hair with bright icy blue eyes with dimples. Then five months ago Jacob brought me Ollie, Ollie is one years old. He has light brown hair with dark brown eyes that almost look black.
I also dyed my hair back to my natural brown hair, except with blonde highlights. Selena died her hair black with red highlights in hers, she also opened up her own Animal Clinic called We Care 🐕. It is doing great to where she opened another one in Washington.
"Iris" said my secretary, who is Joy "what's up Joy" I asked looking up to her then back to my paperwork. Joy and Seb have been married for nine years and have had one boy and one girl they had together. And they adopted a little girl named Rose, she was my Foster daughter. But they fell in love with her and adopted her.
Their oldest Quinn is eleven and is best friends with Ava. Then their boy Alex is seven like Allie, and we swear Alex likes Allie. Then Rose is two like Belle, which is kinda funny. Because of the Rose in Beauty and The Beast, but their Rose isn't part of a curse.
"Selena is here for lunch with us Evelyn, Emma, Lucy, and Janette" said Joy, I look up to her as she smiles. "Shit I so forgot" I admitted Joy shakes her head still smiling at me. "Well hurry up" said Joy, she then walked away. I quickly stood up grabbed my phone and purse then chased after her. Grabbing my coat off the coat rack as I walk by it.
I come down to the lobby to see Janette, Emma, Selena, Lucy, and Evelyn.
         Janette is now out of the mental institution. She is now a nurse at a hospital married to a guy named Brock. They have two kids Carrie, who is six and Suzy, who is five.
Emma and Zeth are married they have been for seven years with three kids. Lacy, who is ten, Ivy, who is eight, and Jamie, who is six. And they are expecting their fourth in two months.
Evelyn is an employee at Selena's pet clinic. She is single with one kid named Bryce, Bryce is nine years old.
         Selena is married to a good man named Grayson, who is only older than her by a year. They met in college and actually they are co-partners in We Care 🐕. They have had two kids together; Grayson Jr., who is eight, and Sophia, who is seven. They also adopted three kids; Wendy, who is eight, Rachel, who is five, and Zues, who is two.
       Lucy is now married to Patriot, yes that is his actual name. Patriot is thirty-one and is a Banker; Lucy is twenty-seven her birthday last week. Lucy working as a receptionist at Selena and Grayson's clinic. They have been married for five years and have had three kids together. Alexander and Alexandria the twins are both five years old. Then they had Hannah their new born baby that is a month old.
"Hey girls" I say as we hug one another "well let's go" says Selena linking arms with me and Evelyn. We all laugh linking arms and walking out of my business Headquarters. As we walk down the street Emma asks "so where are we eating" "I was thinking The Mansion Restaurant" said Janette. "Oooo sounds good to me" said Selena and I in sync we all laugh. "The boys said they meet us there" said Joy, I smiled.
We arrived at the restaurant and went inside. We look around and see Kade, his wife Jane, Dallas, his wife Rae, Rodger, his wife Sally, Grayson, Jacob, his wife Alma, Brock, Zeth, Patriot, and Seb at a table already. With the toddlers in stools and new borns in car seats on chairs. We go over there and everyone stands up and we start doing the hugs. Which is an event itself with how many of us there are.
         Jacob and Alma got married six years ago. They adopted my niece Willow, who is sixteen and Willow's sister Haylie, who is thirteen. They have had two boys together Klaus, who is six years old, and Tyler, who is four years old. Jacob is a Social Worker you already know that, and Alma is a teacher at the high school.
         Kade and Jane have been married for eight years. Jane is an actress and Kade is a professional writer. Jane is a year old than Kade making her 28, and Kade 27. They had a kid while they were dating named Mason, Mason is nine years old. They also have had four other kids durning their marriages. Ben, who is seven years old; Kyle, who is six years old. Gavin, who is four years old; Aurora, who is only three months old.
Dallas and Rae have been married for four years now. Dallas got out of the military one year ago, and now works as a car body builder. Rae is a teacher for our kids elementary school, and is only two years younger than Dallas. Making her 25 and Dallas 27. They have two kids Mia, who is two, and Tony, who is one.
         Rodger and Sally have been married for seven years. Rodger was only in the military for four years, and now he is a mechanic. Sally is also a teacher at the elementary school for our kids. They have had five kids together; Ivan, their oldest is seven. Hayden, who is six years old; Olivia, who is five years old. Alissa, who is four years old, and May, who is two years old.
         After our event of hugging we all sat back down at the table. We ordered our drinks and food as we waited we all chatted. "So how's work Iris" asked Jane "good. I am planning on making a deal with the Sulfrix Company" I say. "Sulfrix isn't that Austin's Company?" questioned Evelyn raising an eyebrow at me, I nodded. "But doesn't Zero run it. Since Austin's to be busy drinking and sleeping around" said Emma "yeah" I say "I'm still surprise he hasn't gotten anyone pregnant" added Selena.
Austin and I haven't talked to one another since he called me when he was drunk. Saying he would make me pay for breaking his heart. I was afraid for my life and my children's life. I had told Jacob and Jacob gave Austin a beating of his life. Austin apologized, but I smacked him. While calling him a disgusting ass. I later on apologized, but we haven't spoke since then.
         "How is Zero and Gabe doing" I asked curiously Zero and Gabe turned out to be gay for each other. I had to pay Emma ten bucks, but oh well. "Their fine. They have four kids now" Jacob told us, I nodded my head. "Duke?" questioned Evelyn looking a bit nervous to know the answer. "He's fine busy though as a doctor and all" Jacob answered Evelyn nodded her head.
         Evelyn had slept with Duke ten years ago, and he is Bryce's Dad. Evelyn went to go tell him, but discovered he had a girlfriend. So Evelyn didn't tell him, but we all know and love her. Though many of us think she should tell him still, but we still support her no matter what.
         "Mamma" said Belle "what is it baby" I asked smiling at her "Pee pee" said Belle. I smiled "ok let's go" I say picking her up and out of her booster seat. "Be right back" I say to everyone then walk off to the bathroom.
         I let Belle do her business I have been working on potty training her. So far she can do pee, poop though is still a working process. Once out the door I picked up Belle while saying "come along Belle" and began to head to the table.
