Winning Her Back

Chapter 2

                               Austin's POV
         I was in a meadow of beautiful flowers "Austin" I heard someone say and looked to see Iris. She was smiling bright at me with the sun right behind her head. "Come on" she said reaching her hand out to me. I was about to take it when she started to fade away. "IRIS!" I screamed after her "IRIS!" I screamed again.
         I jolted up and looked around I stopped though once my head began to pound. I looked over to see Elizabeth from high school fast asleep next to me naked. I was about to wake her up for a round two when Zero bursted in. He looked to me then Elizabeth and rolled his eyes while coming over to me.
         "Get up we are going out to eat" said Zero throwing the curtains open. "Also later today we have a meeting with Friendly Family Restaurant Incorporation. We have been invited to the owners house for dinner" said Zero as Elizabeth started to whine about the light. "Also get that whore out of this house" said Zero walking out slamming the door making me flinch.
         "Austie" whines Elizabeth clinging on to me, I rolled my eyes getting out of bed. I went into my bathroom taking a shower and taking some aspirin. I wrap a towel around my waist then head into my walk in closet. I pull on a dark blue button up shirt and black dress pants.
         I then look over to the box at the top of my closet. I open it to see pictures and a clothes that Iris had left behind. I pulled up one picture of her smiling while laughing as she was in my arms. I pull out another one I had taken secretly of Iris when she was at college. I place the pictures back down in the box and close the box.
I walk out to see Elizabeth still in my bed I rolled my eyes. I walked over to Elizabeth "Austie come back" said Elizabeth "get up and get out" I said and she whined. "Now" I said in a stern voice then leaving as I hear her whine more.
Once down stairs Gabe drags me to the car handing me, my shades. We get in and immediately we start heading towards wherever we're going to eat. "Where's Zero and the kids" I asked "Zero and the kids are at the restaurant" said Gabe sounding angry. I knew no one has been happy with me since I haven't been acting right.
         We arrive at the restaurant and go inside. We pass a giant group and I swear one looked like Selena and Iris. But I ignored it and kept walking with Zero. We get tot the table and I immediately greet my second cousins; though their more like nieces and nephews. We sit down and order, but then I got to go to the bathroom. "I'll be back" I say getting up and heading to the bathroom.
       After doing my business I come out to hear "come along Belle" I know that voice anywhere. I looked to see the back of a woman with brown hair and blonde highlights. "Iris" I say the woman turns around and it is Iris, she wonderful. And in her arms was a little girl with black hair and bright blue eyes. "A-Austin" she stuttered our shocked to see me here.
       "Momma" said the little girl "your married?" I asked her jealousy surging through my veins. "No. This is my soon to be adopted daughter Belle" Iris informs me "hello Belle" I say to the girl. She hide her face in Iris's neck as she mumbled a hi to me. I smile at the little girls shyness "Austin! I swear if you are flirting with another freaking girl I will-" said Zero. But stopped once he saw Iris "hello Zero" Iris greeted him with a smile. It takes him a moment, but soon he is hugging Iris and Belle.
What am I missing here?
       "How are the kids" Zero asked pulling back "good. I am just tired though" said Iris smiling at Zero. Zero takes Belle as she giggles and says "Uncie Zeroo" "hello Belle. You being good for your mommy" Zero asked Belle, she nodded. "Hold in what am I missing" I asked confused "oh Iris's kids go to school with mine" said Zero casually. "Wouldn't the twins be in high school" I questioned "I adopted more" Iris says taking back Belle,
       Before I could say anything a phone rang Iris took her phone out. "Hello?" she said answering it "no I said they needed to be delivered to all of them!" said Iris angry. "No it's fine. Just get it fixed" said Iris "yeah. Bye Chad say hi to your wife for me" said Iris then hung up. "Sorry work" said Iris putting her phone away "anyways I'll see you later Zero" said Iris walking away with Belle. "You bet" said Zero smiling "bye bye Belle" he said to Belle as she waved bye.
       "The things you've missed" said Zero as he walks away towards our table. "Yeah" I say shocked that I just saw Iris and she is completely beautiful. Even more beautiful then when we were in high school. "Maybe if you got rid of alcohol and whores. You'd be good for her" said Zero as we headed to the table together now. "I think your right" I say smiling now.
