Austin's POV
As I was unpacking my stuff I thought I heard whispers. I walk out of my closet to find all of Iris's kids in my room. The younger ones on the bed the older ones standing around. They noticed me and the older ones glared at me as the younger ones kept bouncing on my bed.
"Umm hi" I say shocked to see them in my room "what are your intentions with our mother" spoke Katie. You could see their hate for me in there eyes, but yet curiosity as well. "I wish to marry your mother and become your father" I said "you won't last" said Michael and left the room. The other children followed his lead except Katie, she stood there still staring at me. "You'll last" she said smiling then leaving the room as she left though she said "because you love her and fight for her".
I was shocked Katie was definitely the smart one out of her and Michael. Because I refuse to give up on me and Iris, I love her and will die for her. I have almost died being without her, I can't live without her. And those kids especially Katie will grow on me and love me. Like I will them.
