I got up to the sound of my annoying alarm. I rubbed my eyes, threw my clothes on, and walked into the garage where my bike was. Mackenzie and I were both lazy, so we were gonna take our bikes because if not it's like a five minute plus walk to the woods, and then however many minutes it takes to get to the place we want to camp.
Suddenly, a chill went up my spine. What if something happens? I thought to myself. What if a wild animal comes and attacks?? What if a weird naked man comes out of no where and... I shivered, ran back into the house, grabbed my machete and shoved it into my backpack and got on my bike and rode to the spot we all planned to meet. "Guess I'm here early," I muttered to myself. I sat on my bike for a bit, played •andy crus• on my phone for a bit, and then I called Mackenzie.
"Hello?"
"Get your ass over here. I woke up early for you."
"Hhaaha, sorrysorry, I'm coming. Is Skye there yet?"
I looked around, scanning the area for any signs of beauty.
"Nope."
"Okay, see you in about five seconds."
"Okay bye"
I hung up and turned to the sound of a bike and a girl singing thousand miles.
"that was literally about five seconds," I said, half sarcastic, half actually surprised. Mackenzie handed me a cup "there," she said playfully "for all your hard work getting up early." I took a sip of the scalding hot chocolate and winced. "Did you see Skye while you were coming?" I asked, blowing on the cup. She didn't say anything, but looked extremely uncomfortable and upset. "Uhm...he was...." she muttered into her scarf. "Just tell me, I won't get angry at you." I said, trying to persuade her to tell me. Mackenzie looked at the ground and muttered something like "with a couple girls...no good sunovabitch... mean little bitch..."
he was with a couple of girls?
I felt my blood rising and a lump in my throat. I went over to the nearest tree and started kicking it, shouting very angry words. Mackenzie burst in laughter, and I started to join her. "This is our camping trip. We don't need no fuck bois!!" I shouted over at the direction Mackenzie said he was in.
I put my bag on my bike and walked with it into the woods.
