"I'm surprised that Hey have human food," Mackenzie said surprised. "We actually enjoy some of your food," Lloyd said, sounding kind of insulted. "Sorry!" Mackenzie said quickly. Lloyd smiled and started teasing Mackenzie playfully. I rolled my eyes and looked around. It was a cute little restaurant, with plants and waitresses scurrying around. Hey we're still teasing and flirting with each other when we all vibrated. Not in a weird way, but it's like a huge thing hit the ground and was close. "What was that?" I asked. Getting up from the table. "Shit!" Lloyd said, surprising her with his profanity!!!(I'm being sarcastic) he grabbed Mackenzie's hand and pulled her out of the restaurant. Did I even exist in their heads anymore? I thought to myself as I ran close behind them, trying to dodge all of the frightened people running through the street. I took a second to think. If he's going to where the people are running from OBVIOUSLY something big... I connected the pieces. I grabbed Mackenzie's other hand and pulled her away from Lloyd. "Daisy-?" Mackenzie stammered. "What are you going to do with us?!" I hissed. "There is obviously dangerous over there, or the people would not be running away." Lloyd tried to calm me down, but I put myself in front of Mackenzie and growled, obviously ready to hurt him. "TELL US!!" I shouted. He sighed and his weird ears flattened. "We need to fight a monster."
I stood there in silence for a minute.
Two minutes.
The thing was getting closer.
"Daisy, just calm down,"
Four minutes.
Lloyd cracked under pressure and admitted "I am Aaron's servant. The thing is coming for him."
This didn't explain anything.
"Okay..? Why are we going to the monster though?!"
Lloyd muttered. "I was gunna sacrifice you to save him."
Both Mackenzie and I fell silent.
The stomps got closer.
"ARE YOU SERIOUS?!!!!!" We both yelled. Lloyd's wars drooped even farther. "I know... it was a bad idea..." "damn right!!" I said, getting closer. In comparison, I towered over the weird cat thing. "I will pulverize you, you stupid cat!!" I went to punch him, but a strong hand pulled me back. "Who-" i turned my head slightly to see Aaron looking down at me. "Calm down. Geez, you're louder than the demon."
