"We're here." Aaron said as he stepped from the carriage. Mackenzie and I We're too short, and Lloyd helped Mackenzie down. I jumped and fell over. "Can you do anything?" Aaron growled. I got up quickly and flipped him off. I stood beside Mackenzie and looked down at the glorious city that seemed to go on forever. "Wow," I breathed. "Like it?" Lloyd asked, starting down the steps. "Yes..." Mackenzie and I sighed as we looked around with excitement. A bunch of the locals with different features for every single person stared at us warily, as if they were afraid we would devour their hearts or rape them in their sleep. I stayed close to Mackenzie, eyeing everything so if something tried to hurt us, I would be able to at least punch something. We made out way to a gigantic building and Aaron stood in front of me. An old man was standing in the top of the steps and glares at us. "Aaron," he growled as we stepped up the stairs. I tripped over one of the stairs, as I almost fell, but Aaron grabbed my arm and pulled me into the building along with Lloyd and Mackenzie. The old man stared straight ahead with blank hazed over eyes. "You're hurting me, let go." I said as I was dragged up the glorious stairs. Aaron let go of my hand quickly and shoved his hand into his pocket. "Sorry." He mumbled. Lloyd looked at me and Mackenzie and asked, obviously trying to lighten the mood. "Are you guys hungry?" "Yeah," I said sarcastically. "Being kidnapped and taken to an unknown city gets my appetite going." Mackenzie stayed silent for a minute, grabbed my arm tightly and said "We'd love to eat." I tried to object, but Mackenzie dug her nails into my arm and I gave up. I wasn't going to argue. I was hungry, but I wasn't going to let Aaron go without biting his head off a bit. Plus, I didn't know what this town served. Maybe human, maybe puppies! I didn't know. Aaron stayed behind and Lloyd took us to a cute little store on the corner of a street. It was written in some language, but Lloyd translated for us. "In your human language, it would be pronounced Kinster." I glanced at Mackenzie in confusion, then walked in. "Welcome," a woman with about six eyes and silky black hair. Greeted. Mackenzie and I nodded a greeting and sat down. A waitress handed us a couple of menus and gave us some drinks. "I'm surprised that they have human food," Mackenzie said.
