My Diamond [DISCONTINUED FOR NOW]

prologue part 1

Blue pearl looked at baby dakota as the baby boy cried. She trembled abit crying and holding on to dakota. "I promise my diamond i will protect your child" she says sadly as she poked dakota's cheek. Dakota stopped crying abit and relaxed.

Months later
"Uuhh" yellow pearl held dakota. As dakota giggled and grabbed her nose. "Uuh blue diamond please let go of my nose" yellow pearl says nervously. Pearl looked at dakota with a puzzled face "hmm she seems human tho" pearl examined dakota. But dakota only giggled and squeals happily. "Here let me take her" white pearl smiled in a sort of dead look on her face. Dakota stops giggling and looks at white pearl. He starts to whimper then cry "waahh!!" the pearls panicked "how do you make him stop!" yellow pearl shouted covering her ears. Blue pearl runs in the room "here white let me take him" she says softly and takes the baby boy away from a now, shaking and sweating white pearl. Blue pearl chuckles lightly "first off she's a he, second his name is dakota not blue and third of all. All he needs is love and care" blue pearl hugs dakota gently and the baby boy grabs blue pearls nose and giggled.

6 Years later
Dakota ran around the moon base as blue pearl followed "my diamond please slow down your gonna fall!" blue pearl cried out. The young 6 year old dakota looked at pearl "oh sorry blue im just excited to see the amethysts on pinks colony emerge!" he jumped up and down And claps his hands. Blue pearl chuckled and fixed her dress "you really wanna see don't you?" she smiled at dakota has he nodds rapidly. Pink came up and smiled brightly at dakota "pink!" dakota cheered "hello my little ball of 'sunshine!'" pink says picking dakota up "ready to see the amethysts?" she asked. Dakota nods "can we go on earth tho i wanna play around with the amethysts" dakota asks shyly. "Of course, blue" she giggled. She then took the galaxy warp to earth as blue pearl and pearl follow. Dakota then smiled and looked around "wow!"

4 years later
Word had gone around that pink diamond was shattered. Dakota was devastated at the news. With that yellow and white diamond put to much pressure on dakota telling him he's suppost to be a 'perfect diamond' and they gave pinks colonies to him except earth. Dakota sat there in mothers, or now his palanquin he was so sad. Blue pearl looked at dakota "my diamond please, don't be so sad" tears fell out of her eyes because of dakota's powers. Dakota shook his head and stopped crying "i'll...i'll try to be the best blue, i will" the 10 year old said.
             He had visited earth many many times after that learning new things everytime he went.
In those visits on earth he heard about the garrison even though he basically lived in space he wanted friends that didn't treat him like he was better then them. He used his visits to learn more about the garrison and the simple tech that humans use.
He was in his normal school he managed to get in and sat next to a human he learned their name was keith kogane 'hmm why is he so distant' he thought in his head.
      "I've got a special guest with me today in sure you all recognize him, he is the youngest pilot ever to lead a mission into space takashi shirogane"  the teacher announced and got dakota attention. The class clap in respect for him aswell as dakota he had read alot about shiro and was inspired by him. Shiro smiled "thanks for having me" he said happily "the galaxy garrison  has sent me to schools around the area  to help find the next generation of astronaut explorers,
            who's ready to find out if they got what it takes" he asked looking around the classroom when he catches dakota's eye. Dakota quickly looked down 'eep my hero just looked at me' he squealed happily. The class all raised their hands that they got what it takes "alright alright well in order for you to do that we're going to give you a test" shiro states the class booed and whined 'aww man I am terrible at tests' dakota moped slightly in his head.
          "By playing a video game with partners" he finished, the class cheered happily "we shall do testing tomorrow you are all dismissed" the teacher said as then the bell rang. Dakota got up and looked at keith and felt nervous 'hmmm I wanna be nice and be that humans partner since no one else would' he thought in his head not realizing he was being called "hey! Can you move please? Your in the way" keith huffs, dakota looked and he was in the door entrance "oh sorry" dakota moved out of the way and keith left but dakota then followed and caught up to him "hey wait!" Dakota spoke out. Keith turned and raised a brow "what do you want?" He asked "um...oh i..er my name is dakota shardes and um I was wondering if you would like to be my partner tomorrow for the test" dakota smiled and hugged his book bag slightly out of how nervous he was. "Why should i?" Keith spatted and starts walking away, dakota was persistent at this moment so he went in front of keith his icy blue eyes looking into his dark violet eyes "first off you don't have anyone else and secondly well we both want to get to the garrison right?" Dakota asked. Keith looked at dakota for a moment then looked away "whatever I don't care" keith shruggs dakota smiled happily and walked beside him "I think we would be great a team and friends" dakota said cheerfully. "Friends?" Keith asked "um...well you don't have to I'm just saying I don't really have friends and um...ugh that sounds sad" dakota grumbles after panicking. Keith chuckles slightly but shook his head "I never had friends either but it wouldn't hurt to try? I don't know" keith mutters and shruggs "see you tomorrow shardes" keith huffs as he walked away "you to kogane" dakota said happily waving goodbye.
