prologue part 3

The two boys disappeared at that moment leaving a much taller guy. He woke up and looked around confused at where he was at, why way he here at that moment he was just a empty shell with no memories yet. Until he felt a splash of memories came to him he gasped slightly and backed up abit. "Wh-what" he used his voice for the first time it sounded like two morning voices really that were just mixing up.
He felt his hair and clothes then body "dakota? Keith!" He grabbed his face and looked up "i-i did it!" He smiled "you did it?" He questioned. He struggled to get up slowly and stood up in a weird way "what...what is this" he mutters and looks at his hands.
"We have to show...pearl! But what would our....er..my name be?" He asked himself as he started to think of names "this feels....so..warm, nice..safe" he mutters to himself as he wraps his arms around himself "kota....my name...will be..kota" he smiled happily. He then took one step and wobbled his way a few steps but then got the hang of his strange new form they are.
Their hair was a mixture of black and light blue, they had four eyes the top were blue 'dakota' and the bottom were dark violet 'keith'. He was very tall, taller then both boys, his sweat was a mixture of the two and his skin was light tan. "Just looke at us...we look great" he smiled lightly, he then jumps high and lands softly before teleporting to the cave "pearl! I'm home"
Kota yelled out for pearl "my diamond you sound-" blue Pearl's eyes widen abit "wha-what?" She mutters "pretty cool right?" Kota smiled "you two look....great" pearl smiled "a gem fusing with a human being! That...its impossible but in the very least inappropriate" pearl mutters. "You guys should unfuse this instant though you both have a place to go" blue pearl said softly. "Wait but pearl! You were afraid he wouldn't be able to do this and now he has..aren't you proud of him?"
Kota asked "i... well I was and I am proud but you both have to met takashi, but" pearl sighs and went to the fusion "how do you feel though tell me" she asked softly "i....I feel..scared? Nervous? Confused...how was dakota willing to fuse with keith first, how could he have done that to let me exist, what's the reason, just what am i?" Kota mutters and looked at pearl kneeling down. "don't ever question yourself you are not two people and nor you are one person. You are an answer between to friends or maybe more" blue said softly "now go have fun till you reached takashi" pearl smiled.
Kota smiled and nods as he went and ran happily towards the place they had to meet shiro. He laughed happily as he ran and then made his way there till he had to unfuse, the two boy reappeared but more like popped out and fell cow" dakota groans, keith help him up and they looked at each other happily "you did great" me with smiled. They then walked to see a ship in its garage and they just stared at it "can't wait to someday go out there" dakota mutters. Shiro had just arrived to see the two boys "that's aclipso first ship to carry astronauts to the moons of Jupiter" dakota said pointing at the ship. Shiro was impressed on how dakota knew all of that's "it took them 3 years to get there, longest voyage of its kind" keith mutters. Shiro walked up to them and nod "heh thats right, reading about that mission made me want to be a pilot, those astronauts bravely did it, they accomplished many things" shiro said then turns to the boys "I want to help you two I think you've both got alot of potential,  but what you decide to do with that potential it's up to you two." Shiro said and smiled. Keith and dakota looked at each other, dakota looked at shiro with a smile and nod. "Come let go home" dakota giggled "as...kota?" Keith asked, the two boys fused together again as kota. Kota sighs and smiled then realized that shiro was still there with his jaw to the floor and slightly terrified look "oh boy don't freak out we...I can explain" kota said as he then looked around "but not here" kota said as he picked shiro up and went to a place more private. Kota explained half way through then they separated "well yeah that's basically it" dakota mutters "you aren't gonna run?" Keith asked. Shiro only shook his head "no..just processing all of this but I support you two remember?" Shiro smiled. The two boys nod and turned back to kota "see you shiro, later on" he smiled and ran home. "They really are special indeed" shiro mutters as he shook his head "Adam would love to meet them" shiro mutters as he looked at his ring.
Timeskip
Keith and dakota only got closer to each other after the whole fusion incident they fuse every once in a while till keith realized he was starting to actually like dakota. Now they were in the middle of a flight test with other kids dakota was doing great till he realized the commotion with keith and all the others.
"Ugh I knew I shouldn't have eaten so much" a smol hunk groans being very nauseous. "Ack! Hey!" A lance complained and slightly glared at keith "stay on track cadets" the commander spoke out. Dakota's hand slipped from the handle that made him go abit to fast but he got on track "s-sorry" he mumbles. "Stay on course cadet shardes" he barked again. Keith 'slipped' himself and gave a bored casual look "sorry just testing my controls" he huffs dakota only giggled and shook his head making keith blush lightly. "Keep this up and you'll be stuck as cargo pilot" lance growled lowly in fustration, "yeah keith your gonna get us in trouble" James huffs and shook his head. Keith huffs and pushed on the lever on purpose and flew out of line. The commander stood up from his head "looks like we have a show off" he huffs and walked out of the control room, shiro looked at the commander then at the kids. Dakota sighs "here we go" as he stood next to keith in a straight posture. "Hope you all like it in the simulator, you can thank pilot fancy pants and butterfingers over there for the privilege of spending the next three weekends running drills!" He barked and looked at both keith and dakota. Dakota felt abit nervous but stood straight and keith didn't care what the commander said. The commander huffs and walked away "thanks alot" James huffs sarcastically and glared at the two, "my pleasure" keith rolled his eyes. "We all know that the only reason you guys are here is because of shiro" James glared at keith. Keith glared back, Dakota felt very nervous now "I can out fly anyone in this building" keith huffs and glared back at James. "Guys come on please no fighting" dakota spoke and looked at them "back off silent freak" james said pushing dakota till he fell on his butt. "hey!" Dakota huffs keith felt rage already 'how dare he' keith thought and punched jame back. Dakota's eyes widen as James fell back and keith still kept going until they stopped him while keith struggled "keith stop!"  Dakota yelled making keith instantly stop. Dakota and the rest of the class were sent back to the class room, James and keith were sent to the office.
