Dakota looked out of the window and then at keith's desk and sighs.

Meanwhile at the office
Shiro talked to the supervisor " I can handle it" shiro sighs as he walked out, James entered the room glaring at keith then going inside. Shiro sighs and looks at keith "hey" he greeted keith sighs "look I know I messed up you should just sent me back home already so dakota can focus more on his studies, this place isn't for me" keith huffs looking down. "look keith you can do this I will never give up on you or dakota, you can't leave I know how much you love him keith" he said softly keith looked up at shiro and blushed lightly and looked down "so?" He huffs "it's more important to not give up on yourself" shiro continued. Keith looked at shiro with an uncertain expression "you dont even know us" keith shook his head "your right, I don't but sometimes we all need a hand" shiro said as he hel out his hand for keith to take.

After school
Dakota ran to see keith and sighs "you okay? What did they say? You still staying?" Dakota asked quickly in worry. Keith only chuckled and took dakota's hands "I'm fine dakota, I'll stay now" keith sighs "for you though" he smiled at dakota.

Timeskip
Dakota and keith were close as ever they got to meet shiros fiance, Adam. Everything went fine till the two boys overheard that shiro was going on a mission and that he was sick. Shiro still wanted to go on the mission still in that he lost his fiance Adam. He was no longer engaged and he went, turns out blue pearl was gonna keep shiro company along with the space crew, something dakota did not like at all. "Wait so your just leaving like that? When did you even get the permission?" Dakota said as blue pearl was making her way to the ship.
        "My diamond I'm doing this for you, you know I'll be back" pearls sighs as she went in. Dakota looked down and shook slightly he felt a tap on his shoulder and saw keith. He sighs and hugged him tightly "it's okay dakota...I. here for you" keith mutters.

Later on
Everything was going great till they both found out that the kerberos mission and team have failed and disappeared. "No no no no that can't be pearl would never" dakota said and shook his head.
After those days keith was getting worse and getting in more trouble till he dropped out. "You what!? Why? You can't leave your to important to me keith" dakota said as keith packed, "I have to this place isn't for me dakota" keith shook his head
     "but I love you keith  I can't be here alone without you" dakota looked down and blushed but still felt sad. Keith's heart fluttered when he heard those three words, he slowly turns to dakota with a blush on his face "you mean it?" Keith asked. Dakota nods and smiled at keith "yes...I do" dakota said as he grew closer to keith and hugs him. "Don't leave keith" dakota whispered softly, keith's heart beated out of his chest at this point "dakota...I want to ask you something.." keith spoke after a while "yes keith?" Dakota said softly
       "I loved you for the longest time...and I love everything about you, your smile, laugh and when we fuse....I feel like the luckiest person alive....and I just wanted to know if..." keith was very embarrassed to even finish. Dakota pulled away from the hugged and looked at keith "we can fuse?" Dakota asked. "Yeah! But...permanently I just...feel so incomplete without you" keith said softly. Dakota only giggled "I would love that keith, I would rather give up my whole future then being there  without you"
     he said and looked into Keith's eyes. "I love you dakota...so much" keith mutters as the two grew closer till their lips were only inches away "me too" dakota whispered as their lips made contact. They then became kota tall strong and still new as ever "we are gonna do great, I will be the best fusion there is and find shiro and pearl."
         Kota said with confidence as he then grabbed keith and dakotas stuff and snuck out. Kota looked around as he passed by through the halls, he was about to jump out of the window till he heard the light go on. Kota turns to see Adam there "adam" kota mutters looking down at him "nice night to sneak out isn't it...leaving aren't you?" Adam sighs "yeah we....I am" kota said still getting use to being one.
         "If you find takashi...tell him...that I'm sorry for not supporting him and....that I still love him" adam said as he went to kota giving him keys "you might need this to get your hands on one of the hover-bikes here" adam informs "yeah okay....by adam" kota smiled lightly "bye" adam smiled and nods "now go" adam chuckles.
Kota smiled and jumped out of the window and landed safely on the ground and sighs as he held his bags close and ran quickly and quietly. He then got his chance on a hover-bike and blasted out of there thankfully without anyone noticing. Kota was now off to see what he can do now, now that he was him and he was happy that he was him. "This is me, I am made of love" he sighs as he touched his gem lightly then looked up at the sky. "Night shiro and pearl...be safe..where ever you are" he mutters as he then rode to the shack keith lived in "huh comfy place Keith's got here" he mutters as he then layed down. "Tomorrow is another day as ...me" he said as he slowly drifted off into sleep.

This is how kota was made and his story has only just begun. Lots of bumps and slopes but he knows he will be fine.
