My Diamond [DISCONTINUED FOR NOW]

prologue part 2

Dakota skipped to his cave happily "pearl! I'm home" dakota called out, blue pearl then appeared on the warp pad. "Oh my diamond how was your day at school?" She asked "well they are testing kids at school to see who is good enough for the garrison" he smiled as he sat down. "Well it's time for your training dakota" blue pearl stated, dakot nods as he tried summoning his weapon first. "Ugh I can do it" he sighs "don't give up dakota" blue pearl sighs, dakota tried it again and he summoned a set of darts "woohoo!" Dakota cheered but got to excited and his darts flew everywhere. "Go pick them up" blue pearl sighs but giggled "yes pearl" dakota smiled as he then starts picking up the darts.

Meanwhile
Keith was bored out of being in his 'home' so went out to do some exploring. He walked around holding his dagger with him as usual then spotted a glowing blue dart sticking from the ground next to a Bush "the hell?" He mutters as he got closer to get it, his hand then landed on another hand. Keith looked up to see dakota "oh hey keith" dakot said simply before grabbing the dart "what brings you here?" He asked as the dart disappeared in his hand."I was just exploring the place that's all" keith rolled his eyes and huffs crossing his arms.
Dakota smiled and rolled his eyes "whatever, wanna see me train?" Dakota asked tilting his head. Keith was confused 'train? For what?' He asked in his head. "Um sure? I guess?" Keith said slightly interested in dakota's so called training.
Dakota smiled and grabbed Keith's hand and pulled him to his cave "pearl! I'm back!" Dakota called out. Blue pearl popped out again this time holding two bubbled gems in her hands and the looked at keith "dakota your with a human" she said as he warped the bubbles to the moon base.
"Uh yeah pearl this is one of my human friends at school" dakota smiled. Keith was very confused at this point "wait what? Why you calling me a human? Your human to...right?" Keith huffs. "Well then hello human I am what is none as a gem, I am blue pearl, dakotas servant and mother figure, his guardian honestly" blue introduced herself and bows.
   Keith nods and looked at dakota and huffs "explain more what's a gem?" Keith asked. Dakota then gladly explained what a gem is at least simple enough, "so your a gem?" Keith asked "well yeah only by my moms side" he chuckles he lowered his shirt and showed keith the blue gem on his chest. "Woah, wait you mentioned that the diamonds are like..the rulers of this gem race thing..right? You seem to have a diamond gem on your chest" keith analyzed. Dakota nods "yeah my mom was a powerful leader and when she had me...she gave all that up" dakota sighed. Keith only nods "well thanks for the explaining I think I understand slightly" keith shruggs as he stood up from the floor. Dakota nods and smiled "yeah, now that you know hope I can learn more about you" he giggled slightly. Keith nods "well I guess...um you don't mind if I learn to fight here...do you?" Keith asked and raised a brow. "Not at all" dakota smiled and nods, keith nods "thanks I'll se you Tomorrow" keith huffs and turns to go back home.

At school
" hey keith" Dakota greeted happily, keith turned to dakota and gave him a bored look "hey dakota" he mutters as he looked away and out the window. Dakota sat on his desk and the class began.

Outside
"Introducing the orbit axiom, the galaxy garrison's most advanced flight simulator, cadets not much older then you use simulators just like this to become the next generation of space explorers, now let's see what you got" the kids cheered and got into partners. Dakota went to keith and sat next to him as the rest of the class were checking out the simulators. "So anything else you wanna know?" Dakota asked "hmmm not much really, then again you said fusion what's that?" Keith asked "well it's a word on earth isn't it?" Dakota huffs and raised a brow. "Hmmm well yeah for a car along time ago, but also it's one thing that combines with another" keith sighs. "Mmmmm well that's it but it happens to gems, when gems need alittle bit more power they fuse and have power and all" he explained. "Could gems fuse with humans?" Keith asked "well no" dakota shruggs.
"We've had some great trys but no one has made it pass the third level...looks like your the ones left" shiro said turning to dakota and keith, the boys turn to shiro "you think you got what it takes?" Shiro asked and smiled. Keith and Dakota looked at each other for a moment then shiro.
They went on the simulator and passed until level 5 the class watched in aww "the emo kid and blue guy are doing it" one comment. "No way dakota and keith made it pass level 5? This things gotta be broken" James Griffin mumbles. They continued the simulator.
The teacher went to shiro and showed him her tablet "I've compiled a list of students who I think would make the best cadets for the garrison" she spoke, shirk looked through the list "are these guys in here? They look just about ready to fly the real thing" shiro commented looking at the teacher. "Dakota and Keith? Keith is abit of a discipline case and dakota seems to not know anything simple, they won't  necessarily  fit in the rigid garrison culture." She sighs and shook her head.
Dakota and keith only over heard the conversation while still flying dakota was sad and looked down, while keith was angry and went stood up quickly as he then grabbed dakota's hand and ran "wait what are you doing? The simulator" dakota huffs. "Shut up and trust me" keith sighs as he then went into shiros car and keith drove away. "What was that?" Dakota mutters "you heard her why bother" keith mutters and rolled his eyes. "Its not bad to at least try" dakota sighs as he sat back.
Later on
Dakota and keith both got in trouble but mostly keith for taking shiro's car, shiro only helped them out. Keith was confused to why "I don't get it I take your car and you help us out?" Keith asked and raised a brow at shiro. "Well he still helped us" dakota shruggs slightly, "yeah I did...you guys are a great team and have alot of patential meet me at this place and date, I can give you guys a chance" shiro smiled before driving away. Dakota and Keith looked at each other in confusion but shrugg as they walked back to the cave. "Ooo~ I can't wait to work on fusing with pearl hehehe" dakota said happily. Keith only huffs and rolled his eyes "yeah imma just go that fusion stuff seem to complicated for me" keith said as he walked away. "Oh come on keith" dakota whined as he then wraps his arms around keith "hey! Get off!" Keith yelps and tried to get dakota pff him. "No! Please come see me fuse" dakota whined. The next thing they both know their world went all white and they both disappear into ....something new.
