my name is y/n, ive been friends with johnny and the rest of the greasers for as long as i can remember. they've been there for me through thick and thin. im like everyone's kid sister. but there's one problem... i have the biggest crush on johnny. i haven't told anyone about it, but i was planning on talking about it with darry, since he knows best.
— the morning —
[i walk into ponyboy's house to see him reading a book on his sofa, i greet him]
y/n: hey pony.
ponyboy: mornin' y/n. darry made eggs if you want some.
y/n: thanks.
[i walk into the kitchen to sodapop drinking chocolate milk, and darry setting down a plate of eggs for me]
darry: y/n, here's your plate. eat up kiddo.
y/n: thanks darry.
sodapop: well well look who it is [he gives you a grin]
y/n: hey soda, you got work today?
sodapop: yeah steve should be walking in any minute.
y/n: okay, hey darry can we talk after i eat?
darry: sure kiddo.
— after breakfast —
darry: what's on your mind?
y/n: can we go somewhere else? it's kinda personal.
[ponyboy glances up from his book and looks at you]
darry: oh, sure come on let's go outside.
— outside —
y/n: okay so promise me you won't tell anyone this?
darry: sure.
y/n: i-i well.. um..
darry: come on it can't be that bad.
[you could feel your face get hot]
y/n: i-i have a big crush on johnny.
[darry looked shocked, and stood silent for a few seconds]
darry: gee y/n...
y/n: is that bad?
darry: it's just- you know that you can't date anyone from our group right?
y/n: what?
darry: tim said somethin' about the gang rules...
y/n: that's- that's so stupid!
darry: i know.. and im sorry.
[you felt tears form in your eyes]
y/n: i'll see you later.
[you walk away]
darry: y/n..
[you decide to walk to the park since it's more peaceful, you sat on the swing and started sobbing. you couldn't help it. johnny was always so nice to you, and you liked him a lot]
