She giggled.

Daenerys could clearly hear the pure raw happiness of it bounce off the walls of her throne room.

In front of her lay, on her knees, a skinny young looking blonde girl.

Her hands were chained behind her back and her advisor was holding her shoulder, steadying her.

The girl didn't seem to notice her position as her gaze flickered all over the place, taking the place in with a look of awe. It was nothing she had ever seen before.

The queen tried making eye-contact with her but it didn't work.

"Your majesty, we found her wondering in the halls. She seems to be under some spell, she has lost her mind." Jorah her adviser said with a firm voice.

The girl giggled again. Her mouth forming a big smile showing her white teeth.

The queen couldn't help feel the butterflies forming when she heard the blonde, it was distracting. She turned her gaze towards the old man holding the prisoner, hoping she would be more attentive to his words.

"Lost her mind?" She asked warily, her eyes dropping to the bundle of joy, now biting her bottom lip as she eyed something on the wall.

Very distracting.

She snapped her head up when her advisor continued to talk. She gulped.

From far away they would never be able to tell what is going on. Even close by, her face didn't betray anything for peoples who didn't know her well, she just hoped Jorah wouldn't see anything. She concentrated once more on the older man having probably missed some things he said.

"... Naturally he must have had a reason for this. She's crazy." He finnished.

The dragon queen clenched her jaw, there was something weird happening in her stomach every time she would snip a glance down to the girl.

She was about to speak when the girl looked up to her with bright blue eyes. She swallowed her words trying to keep her mouth shut. Then, it happened, the most beautiful sound she had ever heard.

"I'm not that crazy. Not yet anyway."

It was soft, confident with a kind of lightness with each word.

Daenerys Targaryen became instantly addicted to that voice. It was doing things to her, things she couldn't describe nor control.

Before her mind could catch up with her body she stood up.

"Everyone leave!" Her voice was strong, echoing through the whole room, a hint of impatience could be found. She desperately wanted everyone gone, out of sight.

"But your majesty its not safe, she attacked-" Her advisor tried but she held her hand up signalling him to stop.

With a final sigh he let go of the prisoner's shoulder. He waited by the door once again reluctant, ready to argue but this was his queen so he quickly obliged, bowing he left the room closing the door behind him.

They were both staring at each other now. Neither making a move to break eye contact.

Daenerys slowly stepped down the large stairs not taking her eyes off of the girl while the blonde remained on her knees.

Once at arm's lengths the queen stopped, looking down as the prisoner looked up. The connection was there, stronger than before.

The blonde cracked a smile and Dany could feel the happiness radiate off of her, she started smiling in return.

"You're beautiful."

The blonde whispered.

That made the queen smile disappear. No one had ever told her that before.

"Get up."

She did, with a lot of effort, the guard she attacked must have badly injured one of her legs so that she would stop running away. The blood was still slowly, silently seeping down her pants to her boot.

The queen saw the stains and reached out to hold the girl's waist. "You're hurt."

It wasn't a question but the blonde nodded anyway.

"I'm Lin by the way. Lin Beyhan. I was always taught to be polite and shake hands but I'm afraid I'm a little tied up." The prisoner said with a small smile trying to lighten up the situation.

Daenerys chuckled. "I'm Daenerys Targaryen."

"Don't forget queen. And, pleasure to meet you." The blonde responded with a small laugh. Danny could see the girl's energy was draining out with the way her eyes were drooping.

Before she knew it the girl's beautiful eyes closed, breaking the eye contact for the second time.

Her muddy body suddenly fell onto Dany. She supported her weight and urgently called out to a guard outside the room not caring that the dirt was ruining her dress.

She was worried about the girl, Lin. A stranger that appeared out of nowhere.

She was scared because she wasn't supposed to feel this way. Like they knew each other, like the blonde was someone close to her heart already. But it felt natural. She couldn't help it.

Little did she know that this would change her life.

The beginning of something impossible.

The moment she discovered who Lin really was.

Bon, this was something that popped into my mind when I saw the scene in Game of Thrones were Danny meets Jon Snow. I've never seen the series before, just saw that scene on Youtube.

It made me want to watch the series so that's what I'm doing now. :)
