Quickly closing the door behind her and leaning against it she let out a shaking breath.
Never in a million years did she think that one simple thing like talking to a girl would be so hard for her. She didn't know if it was a good thing or not. This girl seemed impossible, yet she had been right in front of her mere minutes ago. She was still in trans, the girl had that effect on her even after only knowing her for mere days.
Daenerys closed her eyes for a second to regain focus. This girl will not control her emotions. She will stay away from her and let Ser Jorah deal with her.
She forced herself to think about what had been discussed at the meeting beforehand but the queen couldn't stop thinking about the blonde as she was still pressed against the wooden door, not caring about the colder air of the night coming through the open window, or the fact that the room wasn't lit, she could only think of her.
Her, this beautiful, innocent, bubble of happiness that made the hairs on Dany's neck stand up. The way she talked, the way she made her feel.....The only word Daenerys could think of was magical.
The next morning Daenerys felt lighter than normal, like she was flying with her dragons above the clouds, no weight on her shoulders. Just waking up put a smile on her face. A smile she kept for the rest of the day.
Nobody took notice of her giddiness except for Ser Jorah of course. He had gotten to know her like an open book, something she didn't always appreciate.
"Majesty, is everything alright?" Concern was clearly written all over his face, like always.
They were walking towards the throne room. They had work to do.
All the queen did was give him a stern look from behind her shoulder before continuing her path. She didn't want to talk about this to him, not now.
"Is it about that new girl? You know we can't trust her, she could be a Lannister for all we know."
This put a stop to her tracks. The last part he said was hushed but she heard it. It displeased her that he thought that way.
She didn't turn around this time but merely turned her head a little to the right thinking whether the girl really could be a spy. Softly shaking her head she got rid of that thought. "She isn't a spy!" She roared out with all her confidence. This was something she was sure of. It couldn't be.
She walked on not looking back to know if he was following or not. There was some mystery to the girl and even she knew it but she didn't think that the girl would be a spy, could be. She seemed too innocent.

Here she was, making a fool of herself.
Not caring if the way she was acting was appropriate to the situation or not. How could she?
This wasn't meant to happen, it couldn't possibly be true. One moment she was finally happy and the next reality hit her again like a brick being thrown at a wall. She was smashed to pieces by what the guard informed her with.
Her mouth stayed agape and eyes wide open as she stared at the messenger.
She didn't know what to do but she was determined to find out herself if all of it was true so she ran. Her white hair bouncing behind her as everyone from the meeting watched her leave in a rush.
Her mind was blank but her heart was beating rapidly as she hurried trough the halls of the castle not caring if people gave her weird looks.
It couldn't be real. It wasn't possible.
She had to take the smaller stairs of the maidens to get their quicker. Mapping out in her head the fastest possible route towards the room in the Western tower as panic took over.
She was out of breath pretty fast but kept pushing as her longs burned. The stairs were narrow and steep but the queen kept moving up hanging onto the rope on the side. She was nearly there, the fourth floor.
Some maids on that floor were surprised seeing their queen in this part of the castle and without thinking bowed. Daenerys didn't even look their ways as she continued in a smaller corridor than the ones below, her shoes making a clapping noise as they hit the stone floor.
When she finally came across the wooden door she slowed down her pace breathing heavily. The two guards that were outside in the passageway straightened their backs as soon as they saw their queen. They, like anyone that met the queen, feared her but refused to show it.
The guards didn't have time to open the door before the queen entered the room, closing the door behind her with a loud bang.
For a moment Dany just stood there, taking it all in.
The bed sheets had been neatly folded in a pile on the chair. The once scattered books were stacked on the bedside table. The room looked untouched, unused. The window was open, curtains moving gently with the wind.
The queen walked outside on the balcony staring at the sea trying to get her bearings. She had no reason to feel this way. It's not like she knew the blond haired stranger very well. In fact if she remembered correctly, in the past week since they met they met she only got to see her twice.
She knew nothing about the girl, hardly spoke to her, so why was she feeling this emptiness inside her, the feeling of abandonment.
Because Lin had disappeared.
Sorry for not updating in a while, I got stuck on a part in the chapter and it was frustrating because I had this white space in the middle of the chapter that I had to fill but I didn't know what to put.
Anyway, hope you enjoyed this and hopefully see you next chapter :)
