"...34...35...36...37..." She counted her footsteps going East, she was nearly there. Only 83 steps to go.
Lin huffed a breath as she tripped for the third time today. Clearly she wasn't used to walking on uneven ground like in these woods.
'think positive' She thought and moved forward again not missing a single step this time.
"...116...117...118...119...120 wooo!!" She shouted out, arms in the air and a smile on her face, she did it!
She had counted correctly since this place seemed familiar. If she squinted her eyes she could faintly see the outline of the city castle behind all the trees. She had walked for a while, that's for sure, making sure to count correctly with each change of direction.
She was in a clearing on top of a small hill, trees surrounding her and roots sticking out of the ground creating a small barrier around the clearing. The ground was covered in leaves the colour of burned sienna, it was a beautiful place.
Not many people came here, most preferring to stay near the roads, she could sense it. This place held something close to magic.
Maybe that's the reason she ended up here when she awoke. Not dwelling on that immediately she searched the sun and its height before turning North and counting her footsteps again.
"1...2...3...4...5...6...7...8."
All she had to do now was dig, get the items she buried a few weeks ago and go back to the castle before the queen notices her disappearance. 'Wouldn't want to upset her.' Lin reckoned.
The thought of returning to the mystery queen put a smile on the blonde's face.
She couldn't wait to see her again. It was something she should be scared about, wanting to see a queen renowned for her ruthlessness but all she wanted to do was stay near her and get to know her.
She wanted to surprise Dany. There was a whole plot of land full of flowers on her way up here, she would take several for the queen.
With that thought in place she looked back down towards the ground and started digging with her hands and a few sticks she could find, not caring if her new clothes would get dirty or not.
When a leather surface came to view Lin smiled and dug out the big bag. She then covered the hole again and made her way back down the hill counting her steps carefully to not get lost.
The bag was heavy and Lin huffed in frustration as her muscles ached. She hadn't fully heeled yet and her leg began to hurt again.
She limped back towards the castle in silence, only making small grunts as she rocked the heavy bag on her shoulders.
There was a gentle breeze pushing Lin from behind, helping her with the heavy weight. The sun was hitting her blonde locks making them shine in the sunlight, she could feel the heat radiating from her hair and the back of her neck. The weather was pleasing Lin, who had never been in this kind of place before.
Thinking of it, everything here seemed new and strange. From the grassy hills to the busy city there was nothing that reminded her of home. She thought it weird at some point and wondered where she ended up but it seemed pointless to dwell on it too much. She was here and couldn't go back. This would be her home now. And she wasn't complaining.
As she exited the small woodland she was met with the beautiful flowers once again. There were thousands of them, all yellow looking at their sun. Lin considered leaving them there instead of plucking them out so harshly but thought against it, she wanted Daenerys to know how much she appreciated her.
Lin skipped her way over to the flowers, out the heavy bag down and gently touched a flower. It was soft and as Lin brought her face closer she smelled a fresh pleasant sent that reminded her of when she was young and clueless. Well, she was still clueless but for different circumstances this time.
Her body was calling for a break so Lin did just that. She lied down onto the warm cozy grass surrounded by flowers and looked up to the sky. It was pale blue, almost white as the sun illuminated everything. A few clouds could be seen. All in all Lin was happy and soon fell asleep in the meadow forgetting her plan on getting back to the castle, to the queen.

On the queen's orders Daario set of to ride outside the city walls to find the little girl. He wasn't surprised to find out that she had escaped. It only fuelled him even more on his suspicions on the girl being a spy for the Lannisters or another enemy of the queen.
Right now he didn't agree with his queen. She was too naïve, too inexperienced to know these kind of things. That's why she had advisors, advisors that didn't have much use since she was too stubborn to listen to them.
Following the main road to the next village the warrior didn't rush things ahead. He had a crew of six guards trailing behind him on horse back and told them to search with care, 'who knows where she might be hiding' he thought.
It was sunset when they found the girl fallen asleep hidden in the high grass. The guards roughly took hold of her making Lin wake up and gasp. When she saw Daario's face she immediately knew who was behind this.
Looking around her she saw the sun beginning to fade behind the trees. She gulped, she didn't mean to fall asleep but here she was again, in the hold of the guards and looking at the older man. His face hard as stone scowling at her to which she returned a grimace.
"Let's go." The guards moved Lin towards the horses on his order. When they got to their mount they tried to get the girl on the horse but Lin wouldn't have any of it.
She punched the guard behind her with her elbow and ran back to the flowers. The rest of the guards stared as the blonde ran away and it made Daario's blood boil. "Well don't just stand there, go after her!" They jolted at his hard tone and quickly got on their horses chasing after her.
As Lin reached for her bag she rapidly snatched a few flowers from the ground. The guards got to her in no time and knocked her unconscious just as she put her flowers in the bag.
Blackness overtook Lin as she felt something hard hit the back of her head.
