the next few days were intricate.
detailed strategies to try to get around the guards, hushed whispers, and flashes of yellow.
it wasnt until that day tyler had met with josh.
they had a minute to speak before the gaurds called the inmates in for count, hiding in a hall unlit by the neon.
"josh. audrey told me to find you." tyler whispered.
the tattooed man looked slightly doubtful. his coffee brown eyes glared and his eyebrow furrowed.
"how i do i know she talked to you?"
tyler took a quick look around before lifting the sleeve of his olive green jumpsuit to reveal a flash of yellow tape on his wrist.
josh's look immediately softened, hastily checking for guards.
"listen tyler. its you, me, and about eight other people. banditos. we're getting out of here tyler. and we'll defeat DEMA. we'll kill Nico and his minions." Josh whispered, hearing the rustling of the guards.
Josh slipped Tyler a folded paper, and Tyler shoved it into the pocket of his jumpsuit, and pulled down the sleeves.
"Inmates!" a guard shouted.
Tyler and Josh raised their hands in surrender, white neon light being shown in their faces.
"In line for count. Now!" The guard yelled, as the two fell into the surrender of individuality. Here, they were nothing but a number.
The prison guards, Nico, and his bishops, walked up and down the line, assessing.
Nico gave Tyler a devilish smile, coming up to him and placing a snow skinned, yellow nailed hand on his throat, grinning behind his red cloak.
soon, they'd become more than a number.
they'd escape.
