Dear daddy,
Me, Andy and joe managed to persuade papa to come home for a couple days. We've made sure he's okay and we've been doing things to get his worried mind off the hospital and you. We've taken him to the cinema and to the ice rink. It was so fun. I think papa enjoyed it too.
I fell over a few times at the ice rink but papa helped me up and helped me get the hang of it. The rink was only open for us when we went, so it was us four and Brendon. We had it to ourselves for the time we were there. Andy, joe and Brendon ended up competing to see how fast they could go. Brendon won. It made us all laugh, even papa. I really enjoyed it with them and I'm glad papa came with us. I've missed him being with us and I'm glad that we persuaded him to come.
Papa said once you are recovered that we are going to take you ice skating. I'm pretty sure the same thing will happen if we go again with Brendon, Andy and joe competing. It's so funny. I can't wait for you to see it. It's going to be so fun when we go.
