We walked into the class which was mostly empty because it was quite early. I looked around for two seats next to each other. Soon my eyes landed on some seats and I pulled Rosé with me towards them.

I sat down on one and she sat on the other. While we waited for the teacher to arrive we talked and got to know each other better. Students also started to fill the classroom.
The door suddenly opened as the bell went, telling us that our first class had started. My new teacher walked in, closing the door after him.

Teacher: good morning everyone, today we a new student. Please stand up

Rosé looked at me and motioned me to stand up. I slowly got up from my seat as everyone looked at me. I smiled sheepishly and looked around at everyone, waving as well.

Teacher: introduce yourself, please

Y.N: h-hi I'm Y-Y.N, I h-hope we can be f-friends

I mentally facepalmed for stuttering. Why am I nervous? I then sat down again and actually facepalmed myself as Rosé laughed at me quietly. Everyone then turned back to the teacher.

Teacher: ok so let's start

It was now the end of class and I started to pack my back up as Rosé waited for me. We then went to our last class before break. When we arrived in class we sat at the back again so we weren't noticed by people. Soon the teacher entered the class and did the same thing as in our first teacher.

Break...

Now it was break, I and Rosé pack up our books. Then we left the classroom going towards the break hall. Soon we arrived.

Rosé: at lunch, I'll introduce you to my friends, we're kinda a group call Blackpink. We're like the popular girls here but you can join, I bet they'll love  you just like me

She smiled as she spoke.

Y.N: I hope

I mumbled to myself so she couldn't hear me. Then, I went into my bag to get my food as she did the same. After a bit, the bell went indicating that it was the start of class and the end of break.

I and Rosé made our way to our next class, history. To be honest I hate history.

Lunch...

After class we went to get lunch, now it's time to meet Blackpink I guess. I'm kinda worried they won't like me or won't approve of me. I've never been friends with the popular girl, I'm always so awkward with people. Soon we arrived at lunch and my worrying mind went out of control.

I was thinking every single thing that could go wrong. Rosé lead me to a table with 3 girls there. She went up to them and hugged them.

I just stood there awkwardly as I stared at them. She then turned back towards me.

Rosé: so guys this is Y.N, she's new and  my new friends

I smiled and slightly waved at them.

Y.N: hello

???: Hi I'm Lisa the youngest I think but how old are you?

Y.N: I'm 15

Lisa: ok so now your the youngest, btw I'm 16

I nodded at the new information to show I understand. The rest them introduced themselves and told me their age. Rosé is 16, Jennie is 17 and Jisoo is also 17.

I and Rosé then sat down at the table. They all seem quite nice but I don't think I fit in with them. They come across as badass I guess. But then again they are the popular girls in this school. I was curious about why they let me into there group people call Blackpink.

Y.N: can I ask something?

Blackpink: of course

Y.N: why are you letting me be in your friend group? I don't really fit in with you, I've never really been a popular girl

Jennie: because we aren't like how you imagine popular girls to be, we aren't cocky or mean or bullies. We're just normal people others class as popular because they think we're pretty and fit the part

Y.N: oh umm that's.... cool

After I said that I instantly wish hadn't, I now felt really awkward and I think they could tell because they laughed lightly. It then went back to awkward silence.

Y.N: so umm am I your friend now?

Blackpink: yes!!!
