Homecoming...
I and Yoongi walked out onto the stage in front of everyone. I could see blackpink and Hobi smiling and waving at us. I smiled back. There were two stool for us to sit on. We sat down on them and got ready. After a quick breather, we started to sing.
After I sang and Yoongi rapped, the students clapped for us. I could hear the loud cheers from our friends over everyone else. I smiled at Yoongi. I was proud of myself for singing in front of some man people. We stood up and bowed 90° before leaving the stage. Yoongi turned to me when we got backstage with a big gummy smile.
Yoongi: I'm so proud of you! You performed in front of some many people!
Y.N: thank you. You were amazing as always. I can't believe I did it!
He hugged me tightly. I quickly hugged back. My head was on his chest while he was in the crook of my neck. I loved the warmth he radiated. We stayed like that for a while until someone cleared their throat. We pulled away to see our friends standing there. They looked like they had been standing there for a long time. I and Yoongi sheepishly smiled at our friends.
Y.N: hi, ha-have you been there for a while?
Lisa: yes, we just wanted to say you did well
Jisoo: your song was so good. I could feel the emotions in your voice
Hobi: I didn't know you could rap and sing so well
Jennie: I'm so proud of you. Overcoming your nerves
Rosé: I knew you could do
I hugged them all when they finished talking.
Y.N & Yoongi: thank you so much
We said in unison making our friends smile.
Yoongi: oh we forgot to tell you we're together
Jisoo: you didn't need to tell us. I mean, you came together, your matching and you just hugged for like 100 years. We kinda just assumed on our own
Y.N: we are pretty obvious aren't we
They nodded, even Yoongi. I hit his arm lightly.
Y.N: hey, your not supposed to agree with them
We laughed at my comment and began to leave backstage.
Jennie: homecoming is ending soon, where you wanna go after this?
Almost all of us shrugged.
Rosé: let's decide after, yeah?
We nodded in agreement and joined everyone else on the dance floor. The songs were upbeat compared to 'so far away'. I and my friend were dancing without a care in the world. It was so much fun. Homecoming was coming to an end. We decided to leave. Together, we stood outside thinking about where was should go.
Hobi: why don't we go to mine and Yoongs' house
Lisa: who's Yoongs?
Yoongi: a name he and Y.N calls me
Lisa: what about your parents?
Hobi: we don't live with our parents actually
Jisoo: OK so let's go to yours
We all started to walk but then stopped.
Jennie: how're we going to get there?
Yoongi: I have a car so four can go with me
Rosé: I have my car too
Hobi: I'll go with Rosé then Lisa, Y.N, Jennie and Jisoo can go with Yoongi
We all got into the two cars. Yoongi drove off first so Rosé could follow.
Hobi and Yoongi's house...
Yoongi arrived first shortly followed by Rosé. We made our way into their house. We all went to the living room.
Hobi: so what do you want to do?
Jennie: let's play some games!
All: yeah!
Jisoo: do you have a Wii?
Yoongi: yes, should we play just dance?
All: sure
Hobi got all the controllers and the Wii set up ready to play. He handed one to me and one to Lisa.
Y.N: this isn't fair, Lisa is really good at dancing
I said with a slight pout on my lips. Everyone just laughed. We decided that Lisa would pick the song. She picked 'ddu du ddu du' by pink punk. I really loved that so I wasn't mad. The music started and we got into our positions. The animated girls on the TV started to dance. I and Lisa copied them the best we could. Lisa was winning at the moment. At the last minute, I snuck in and took her crown.
Y.N: yeah! I wOn I bEaT LiSa!
I did a little victory dance before sitting down. Yoongi soon sat next to me.
Yoongi: can we talk quickly?
I nodded at his question and followed him to his room. He opened the door then locked it after I entered. He then turned to me with a nervous smile. I let out a small giggle at his cuteness.
Yoongi: oh my god, that was actually the cutest thing I've ever heard
Y.N: I know I'm adorable. What do you want to talk about?
He rubbed the back of his neck and looked down a bit before looking back at me.
Yoongi: I know we haven't been together for a long time but I love you so I got this
He pulled a ring out of his back pocket.
Yoongi: it's a promise ring. It's to promise that we will stay together forever. I know how cheesy it is but I don't care. Do you promise to stay with me?
Y.N: of course! Why did you make it sound like you were proposing!? It scared me
He chuckled and slid the ring onto my finger. He then gave me the other one. I slid it onto his finger. Suddenly, we heard whispers. I walked up to the door, unlocked it and opened it. Jennie, Lisa, Rosé, Jisoo and Hobi all fell at my feet on top of each other.
Y.N: how long have you been there?
All: not long
I gave them a look that said 'don't lie'.
All: OK long
We all burst out laughing. I don't think I could of had a better last homecoming that this.
