Assembly...

I just sat there until I had a subject that caught my attention but not in a good way.

Headteacher: now a police officer will tell you about suicide

As soon as I head that word I started to panic. I was shaking and my sweat was cold. Rosé picked up on my panic and put her arm around me, stroking my arm gently.

Rosé: what's wrong?

She whispered calmly. But I couldn't answer, I just sat there until Rosé pulled me up with her and walked me to the back door. We went out of the big hall and into the corridors.

Rosé: just stay here and we'll come to get you when the assembly is over, ok?

I nodded my head and she left me there. I sat down on the floor and stared into space, nothing to do. Suddenly, I heard footsteps coming towards me but I just ignored it. I soon saw some shoes in front of me. I looked up to see the boy who gave me my keys. But I just looked back down not caring he was there.

???: skipping assembly are we?

I still didn't acknowledge him. He sat down in front of me and crossed his legs like me so close that our knees were touching. I tried to move back but realized I was already against the wall.

???: I'm Yoongi btw who are you? I think we're neighbours

Y.N: I-I'm Y-Y.N

I said, still trying to calm down. All the memories of Nayeon flooding my head. I then remembered the day. The day I was told. The day I was told she committed suicide. Tears welled up in my eyes.

Yoongi: hey are you ok?

He asked concern laced in his voice. Even though I wasn't I still nodded just like Nayeon did every day. He tapped my shoulder to get my attention so I slightly lifted my head. As I did, he pulled me into a warm hug. Even though I only just met him, I felt safe in his arms and hugged him back. He rubbed my back soothingly and gently but this made me cry even more, reminding me of how Nayeon tried to comfort me. I held on him tighter as he did the same to me. He pulled away a little to see my face.

Yoongi: are you going to tell me why your crying now?

I shook my head indicating my answer, no.

Yoongi: ok but don't you think it's time to go to class now?

Y.N: y-yes

Yoongi helped me stand and asked me what my next class was. Too lazy to answer, I gave him my timetable.

Yoongi: looks like we have the same next class

He smiled at me then we walked to our next class. As we entered class, the teacher and students looked at us. I try to hide behind Yoongi a bit as my eyes were red from crying and it didn't look good.

Teacher: why are you two late?

Y.N: we umm we-

Yoongi: I took Y.N to the nurse because she felt sick but she's ok now, aren't you?

I nodded my head. I teacher sighed and pointed us to the last two seats in the middle. We went and sat down after the teacher continued with the lesson.

Lunch...

After my 4th lesson of the day, I went to the lunch hall. I see Blackpink sitting at a table and go over to them.

Y.N: hi

I say as I smile and the returned it.

Blackpink: hi

Jisoo: where did you go after you left? Rosé said in class you sat with some boy

Y.N: I just sat in the corridor and met this boy called-

???: Y.N!

U turned around to see Yoongi coming towards us with his friend.

Y.N: him, I met him

Soon they were at our table.

Yoongi: can we sit with you?

Y.N: sure

They pulled out a chair each and sat down as they got their lunch out their bags.

Y.N: so this is Yoongi but I don't know who this one is

I point at them both.

???: Oh yeah I forgot, I'm hoseok but you can call me hobi or J-hope

Y.N: J-hope? Why?

Hobi: Yoongs describes me as his hope so I just thought it was a cool name

Y.N: why did the j come from?

Hobi: my family name, Jung

Y.N: ohhh that makes sense, well Hobi nice to meet you

I smile again and then continued eating my food.
