~~~~~~
It was a pretty quiet day for the three friends. Especially since their usual activity is screaming at each other to do something other then sit around all day.
Ink was sitting on the couch, a sketch book in his lap. He was planning to draw something but today was just an off day in general. A lot of things had happened, and even if he didn't wanna admit it. He regreted some of his actions. He didn't mean to get mad about Dream and Blue's growing relationship. It just threw him into a curve of him feeling like he was left out, forgotten if you will. And as Ink continued to stare at the paper in front of him, he found himself unable to look away.
The pages were starting to look more white to him, in which normally these parts never really bothered him. Now they did. Now the blankness was getting to him and he could just feel his breath hitch slightly. He really was alone, and the quietness wasn't helping him. He was alone.
Ink didn't even realize his breath was picking up as he slowly reached a hand toward his chest. He looked down and closed his eyes tight, not even noticing the person sitting next to them. As Ink felt a hand touch his shoulder he felt himself falling back into reality. He pushed the sketchbook off his lap before looking up to meet the person's gaze.
It was just Blue. Blue looking at him with obvious worry. Ink relaxed a bit, his breathing slowing down. It was just Blue, he told himself.
"Ink.." Blue spoke calmly, "are you okay..?"
Ink nodded slowly, relaxing more. He moved to be more closer to Blue, causing the other to blink in surprise.
"Ink.."
Blue wrapped an arm around Ink and pulled him closer. Ink rested his head on Blue's side as Blue just hummed a soft tune.
Blue was used to Ink just randomly seeking attention. It wasn't like him at first but as the group of friends got closer it seemed Ink got a bit more clingy. Ink grew especially more clingy when him and Dream had started dating.
"You gonna tell me what's wrong bud..? It's not like you to be so.. Quiet. I'm use to getting a smark remark about this ya know?" Blue spoke up after a bit, causing the other to look at him.
Ink was silent for a bit before sitting up a bit. "I just... Feel left out ya know..?" Ink paused when he saw the guilt in Blue's eyes. He moved to grip Blue's hand sighing a bit. "Don't worry about it okay? Just do you and I'll do me." Ink smiled, but Blue was a bit more smarter then falling for Ink's tricks.
"Ink I'm gonna worry," Blue squeezed the other's hand before continuing, "You're our friend Ink, we'd never just leave you. We love you Ink." Blue moved to press his forehead to Ink's. Ink, thankfully, not moving away. "I wish I could show you how much we do.."
There it was again. Ink felt sudden regret in his gut. He was ace, he's never felt anything for anyone in his entire life. He never thought he would and his friends obviously accepted that. Yet here they were, they loved him, and Ink was starting to think he felt the same. He just didn't know how to tell them.
Ink placed a hand onto Blue's cheek, Blue instinctively reached up to grip Ink's hand. Blue looked at Ink with slight concern but it soon faded with Ink placed his lips on his. Blue blinked and stared at Ink when he pulled away.
"I love you.." Ink spoke softly, a small smile growing.
"I love you too," Blue responded, squeezing Ink's hand a bit.
