You Deserve Everything

The Plan

Please forgive me, I know I'm not always good at matching character traits. But oh well, I guess.

"Ok does everyone know the plan?" Shiro asked.

"Can we go over it one more time? I'm still a little nervous."

"Of course Hunk. The castle of lions is going to stay out of range of the Galra ship so they don't know it's there but close enough that if we need backup, they can get to us in time. We'll be taking the Green Lion thanks to Pidge's cloaking program. We don't want to start a fight. Our priority is Keith. We don't want him to get anymore hurt than he already is. Are you ready Hunk?"

"I guess...I'm just so worried that something happens to Keith..."

"I know what you mean. But Keith's best chance is for us to go get him. We need you Hunk. And Keith needs you."

"Ok I'm ready! Let's go get Keith back!"

Keith felt like his whole body was on fire. Engulfed in never ending flames ready to tear him apart if he made one wrong movement. But he needed to hold on. The other Paladins would find him. He knew they would. No matter how long it took he would be ready for them when they got here. He wasn't about to let them risk their lives for someone who was already dead. No way.

Suddenly Keith felt a stab of pain everywhere Zarkon had drawn blood. Keith hated when he screamed, he felt pathetic. But it hurt like hell and he couldn't muffle them anymore. Zarkon's voice came on over the intercom, he was laughing.

"Every hour you will feel that pain." Keith couldn't stand it anymore he was tired of torture. But then it stopped. "It will last a minute and get longer every time. It will also get more painful. I wonder if you'll even survive."

"I will!" Keith growled with determination in his voice.

"Paladins do you copy?"

"Yes we copy Allura." Pidge replied.

"Are you ready?"

"We have to be." Shiro said.

"There it is!" Hunk yelled excitedly.

"Ok everyone, get ready." Said Shiro.

"Activating cloaking." (Y'all know who said that sooooo)

"We've landed." Shiro informed the Castle of Lions. "Ok from here on out everyone needs to be extra careful. Keith's life is on the line. I know that's a lot of pressure but we can do it. For Keith!"

"We made it in." Pidge told Allura and Coran.

"Ok good luck Paladins. Bring Keith back to us safe and sound." Coran told them.

"We will." And you could here the determination in Shiro's voice as he said it.

Keith didn't want to give up hope. He knew they would be here soon but the pain really was just so unbearable, and it was getting to him more now. There wasn't a single place that didn't have at least one cut...he was sure if he just let himself he could fall asleep. But was that really such a bad thing? I mean what if the Paladins weren't going to be here for maybe another day. He would have to sleep at some point wouldn't he?
