"Ok fingers crossed." Hunk said. It was about time for Keith to come out of his healing pod. And they were all ready and waiting when the boy would come stumbling out.

"Awe c'mon it's been like another hour since Coran called us down here saying it was time!" Lance whined. He glared at Coran as he did so.

"...it's been 10 minutes." Pidge told Lance using earth time since Lance still hadn't fully adjusted.

"Well I'm sorry if I'm a little more nervous about my new boyfriend just being in so much pain CAUSE THESE STUPID PODS DIDNT WORK!" Everyone turned their heads and just blinked at Lance, surprised by his sudden outburst.

"Trust me Lance, we're all nervous and impatient but Coran said he fixed the pods and we trust him." Lance knew how much Shiro cared for Keith so if he was relatively calm Lance could be too. He just need to take a few deep breaths...

The Paladins, Allura and Coran heard a slight, POP and whoosh sound before Keith came tumbling out of his pod. Pidge was actually the one to catch the Paladin but wasn't able to hold him for very long, for the impact was great and it took her by quite the surprise. And though Pidge was one of the strongest people Lance had ever met it would still be hard for the small girl to hold the body weight of Keith. So almost immediately they both ended falling down, Keith landing on top of Pidge.

Keith, still pretty disoriented, quickly understood the situation he was in and jumped up so he was no longer crushing the Green Paladin. And he gave a slight, "Sorry." as he helped Pidge back onto her feet too.

"No problem. Just glad to see you awake. How do you feel?"

"Good."

Shiro sighed with relief. "You really worried us back there you know. Why didn't you let us know sooner?"

"I know and I'm sorry everyone. I didn't want you guys to have been burdened with it."

Shiro shook his head. "Keith we're a
team, we're not "burdened" by each other's pain. We simply want to help." Keith only nodded, ashamed he didn't tell anyone sooner and that it had gotten bad very quickly.

Lance couldn't stand it anymore. Keith hadn't given him a second glance and he was getting agitated for the attention he wanted from Keith. They had just gotten together and-

Lance had interrupted his own thoughts. What if Keith regrets his decision? He had still been in pain when they were talking. Had Keith been delusional from the pain? The thought of that might being the case slowly tore Lance apart. Especially that when everyone left Keith still hadn't glanced his way.

The Paladins were all sitting in the lounge together. Talking, laughing. And Keith was too, for real. He really did feel good. But when Hunk mentioned a certain someone Keith spaced out. He was having a panic attack.

"Keith? Bud you alright?" Shiro asked him when Keith hadn't answered his question from earlier.

"Guys he panting really heavily and he's all sweaty."

"What do we do?!" Hunk asked. He was tired of Keith being in pain, mentally and physically. Shiro stepped down in front of Keith and waved his hands in front of him face. But he was really out of it.

Then suddenly Keith fell to the floor. He was screaming, but it wasn't like the other times he was screaming. Then it was because of pain. Now it was because of pure terror and horror as his mind replayed his memories of being tortured and taunted.
