Percy POV
His mom had arrived minutes after he had arrived in the ward. He had woken up in a mood after the woman had attempted to sedate him. He remembered not to touch his shoulder because the sedative would enter his body for real. That would be bad. His mom came into the room with Paul following her. He dropped his head when Paul saw him. He was embarrassed by what he had said.  Paul seemed fine and obviously was still not fully understanding that they had spoken the truth.

His mom approached and smiled her most loving smile. He smiled back. The doctor started to tell Paul and his mom what had happened and how he had improved quickly after he threw up large amounts of water. The doctor allowed them to leave and advised him to see a councillor if he began to feel a phobia towards the water.

He almost laughed out loud but bit his tongue to stop him from doing so. His mom looked at him warningly. As soon as they were in the car his mom asked "what happened, Perseus Jackson?" His mom must be trying to look annoyed because she never used his full name. "I got annoyed, overextended my powers then a mortal almost saw but I passed out and it looked like I was pushed out of a window." He had shortened it because he didn't want to confirm that he was still annoyed at Paul. She smiled as Paul looked ate her in confusion. "Paul," he started, "I promise I will prove it to you when we get okay?" Paul nodded and relaxed backwards into his chair as if he had just removed the tension from his back.

They arrived back at the flat fifteen minutes later after five minutes of akward silence. They entered the flat in continued silence until he broke the silence with Paul as they sat to watch TV as his mom made food and cookies for after they ate. The tv flickered with light across his eyelids and before he knew it he was fast asleep leaning on Paul.

Paul POV
Percy was so calm after what had happened he seemed to have had a miraculous recovery. Something in him still didn't believe Percy. The concept seemed to wacky or even just too much to believe such an innocent child could go through. He glanced over to see Percy sleeping on his shoulder, he must be exhausted if he used up his powers. He thought back to himself 'Percy is a normal teen he doesn't have powers and he is just a normal boy with ADHD and dyslexia.'

After at least half an hour he looked back at Percy who hadn't moved at all. Then all of a sudden he began thrashing in his sleep, trying to almost fight someone who wasn't there. Percy's eyes sprang open, he sat bolt upright tears flowing down his now pale face. Percy ran out of the room with him hot on his heels. "Leave me alone Paul I don't want to hurt you too, my mom needs a chance to be happy!" He stumbled over his words and collapsed sobbing on his bed, Sally came in to the room and sat in her son's bed stroking his uncontrollable black hair. Sobs wracked Percy's entire body leaving him shivering with a haunted look in his piercing eyes.

He finally stopped sobbing, Percy was sat between him and Sally. "Can you talk about it?" Sally asked quietly. Percy nodded and opened his mouth to explain. "I saw it all again..." He was clutching an odd piece of grey hair in his hand he hadn't noticed that on Percy before. How does a young boy already have grey hair? "Bianca, Zoë all of them..." Sally seemed to recognise the names he was saying but to him he had no clue. "I held the sky again, I went through the labyrinth again and I fought Luke and... and... I failed mom! I'm almost 16 what am I meant to do! I'm not ready to lead an army! I'm not old enough to see more of my friends die!" Sally looked at him with care and worry tainting her eyes. He began to understand Percy more, this before him was a boy broken from a young age, broken mentally and emotionally. To such an extent that he seemed afraid to sleep because of the possible nightmares to come. Something in him still held back telling him 'it's not a true story it's just a boy who has had nightmares.' But instinct told him to believe Percy well at least for the time being.

Two days passed and Percy had spoken nothing more about his past. He decided now was the time to test Percy. He was sat at the dining table writing a letter to Annabeth in some code. He filled a glass of water, walked passed and pretended to trip. The water splashed all over the counter but where the paper was supposed to be ruined by water it stayed perfectly dry and so did Percy. He strode away gobsmacked at what he had just seen still it didn't seem enough proof. Maybe he hadn't aimed correctly at Percy. He sat opposite Percy at the table and began to read the newspaper. The glass was now beside Percy and he seemed like he was willing to prove something. "Paul put your newspaper down for a second I want to show you something! Watch." He looked up at Percy who was concentrating on the water spilt all over the floor and counter. He pointed with his finger to the glass then recoiled his fingers. The water rose from the floor and counter flowing back into the glass he had filled just a few minutes ago. This was it this was true? He questioned his own thoughts on the matter, this changed his perspective on EVERYTHING!
