A/n sorry for not updating I have had quite a few issues with school and I needed time and space to think.
But... not to worry here it is and I hope you enjoy thanks to @LunaStarTheCat
Enough with this let's get on with the story :)

Percy POV
He sat with Annabeth at breakfast relaxing and enjoying his cereal. Annabeth was the one who eventually broke the family's silence, "Paul?" She asked causing Paul to look up from his newspaper, "Yes Annabeth."
"Would it be possible in 2 weeks for me to visit again before summer because Percy and I have to talk about a major issue." He nodded into his cereal understanding what Annabeth was talking about and hoping Paul and his mom would say yes. They had no real reason to say no anyway.

They agreed much to his and Annabeth's gratitude.

(Time skip to Monday morning after they had a great weekend)

The alarm went off and he stumbled to his drawers to grab some clothes, he put on his Vans, some jeans and a plain blue tshirt. Almost forgetting he manoeuvred back into his room and packed his swim kit for the swim team trials. He would have to be careful today not to leave the water dry, much to his own disappointment. There was another issue. He wasn't best of friends with the old swim captain and he was deciding on the new team and captain. Let's hope he is feeling nice.

Paul drove him to school keeping him 100% embarrassed as he sang loads of old songs really loud, WITH HIS WINDOW OPEN!!!! He managed to get to school without anyone luckily hearing Paul's awful singing voice. At his locker he exchanged Friday's books with Monday's. Looking through his timetable he sighed seeing that he had English, Science, double maths and marine biology. The only two good lessons he had was Paul's lesson in English and marine biology with Mr Wells.

The classes went well but he found himself bored in double maths which was not surprising at all. So to waste time he sat finished the work and began to write a poem about each of his demigod adventures so far. To stop any unwanted eyes from reading he wrote in ancient Greek also it was so much easier to read back than how scruffy English was. His poem read:

Δεν κλέψα το μπουλόνι
(I didn't steal the bolt)

αλλά έπρεπε να το ανακτήσω
(But I had to recover it)

Ήμουν σχεδόν σκοτωμένος
(I was almost killed)

Από έναν θεό που θα έπρεπε να έχει ψύξει
(By a God who should have chilled)

Χωρίς δικό μου λάθος
(Through no fault of my own)

Ήμουν κλέφτης κεραυνών
(I was the thunderbolt theif)

The bell rang to signify the start of the next lesson but lucky him he was stuck in maths for another hour. So he decided to start the next verse and next adventure poem after he was quite satisfied with the first.

Ο Κένταυρος δεν το έκανε
(The centaur didn't do it)

Το δηλητήριο ήταν πολύ γρήγορο
(The poison was very fast)

Το δέντρο σχεδόν πέθανε
(The tree almost died)

Γιατί είπα ψέματα
(Because I lied)

πήραμε το χρυσό ύφασμα
(We got the gold fleece)

αυτή τη φορά δεν ήμουν ο ήρωας
(This time I was not the hero)

The bell rang again for lunch and he picked up his poems that he was excited to show Annabeth when she came back he thought she would be proud especially since she was his Greek tutor.

Marine biology was the best even though most of the topics he already knew from talking to his pet fish Nemo and Dory and also he was known as the Sea Prince. The lesson flew by and I almost missed the trials because I was stopped to talk to our school satyr.

He changed quickly and ignored the glances as everyone stared at his scarred legs. He had chosen to swim in his tshirt because of the huge slashes and scars along his back. The trials started and he was in the pool lane 3 next to Alfie and a boy called Henry both who thought they were the coolest ever. He decided he would come in close second to not arouse any suspicions of out of this world talent.

They set them all off and he finished behind Henry by half a second which was how he had planned it anyway but Henry had to rub it in by smugly saying "oops sorry Percy I guess you were too slow boohoo." That struck a nerve and he just shrugged and to annoy Henry he said "don't worry Henry I don't mind it's making sure you have fun that's the real point." Henry became rather red in the face, humiliated in front of his friends. "Watch it Jackson I can easy beat you then I wasn't even trying!" He rolled his eyes and went to meet up and find out what was occurring. The team sheet read:

Henry Ratchard - Captain

Team
- Perseus Jackson
- Alfie Mayway
- Tina Fleari
- Katie Turner
- James Weatherstone

He was happy, he had made the team and now he had a chance to work up the maybe even the Olympics one day! After everyone was dismissed Henry waited and smugly pointed at the team captain label and sauntered over to him causing others to come out of the showers and see what all of the commotion was about. "χαζό αγόρι" (stupid boy) he muttered at at Henry who looked taken aback by the knowledge of an abnormal language. "Care to say that out loud Jackson?" Henry seemed enraged so just to push him a little further he nodded and said "χαζό αγόρι." Henry was very red but it was his fault for being so cocky towards him.

"Okay Henry I have and idea, we should have a race if I win you stop having a go at me and if you win I will quit the swim team."

Oooh cliff hanger to get you guys back into this book. Thank you for the support on my other chapters you guys are truly amazing.
