Percy POV
He knocked on the door of his mums flat excited for her to see that he had arrived a day early on the Friday instead of on the Saturday! He heard his mum call to Paul that she was going to get the door and to turn off the tv as she had visitors. The doors locked clicked as he heard her finally unlocking the chain. The door opened and his mums face filled with deep smiles and her eyes glistened with tears.

She let go of the door and grasped him bringing him into a warm hug. He pulled away and looked at his mum with his best Percy smile. "I thought I would suprise you and Paul. I got out of camp and Chiron let me come." He didn't want to plague her with his stories from recently as for one it would cause him to cry, two his mum would only then worry about him and three Paul was not knowing about his life yet.

He stepped through the door and then stopped. "I'll tell Paul today mum, he deserves to know it's unfair to keep more secrets." His mum looked at him and nodding and smiling. He walked though to his bedroom putting his clothes out and to break the ice putting on one of his favourite camp halfblood tshirts which let his camp necklace show.

In the living room Paul high fived him as he sat next to Paul. He decided not now. He would do it in the morning. Watching the tv, out of the corner of his eye he saw Paul reading his tshirts.  His eyes showing how confused he was but seemed to not decide to bring up the subject. "Dinners up!" His mum shouted from the kitchen. "Coming mum" Percy shouted and "coming Sally" they had said in unison. For dinner they had omelette. She had made him blue omelette, his favourite. It was another way she carried on even after smelly Gabe was gone (long story). Paul thanked his mum for the meal and mum invited him to stay the weekend.

After dinner they cleared away and Percy and Paul were left talking. They ended up talking about Annabeth and his friends. His mum joined them and he announced "I'm going on a walk, I need to have a walk around the block to grab a toothbrush. I left mine at camp." She nodded and I noticed Paul's eyes look at my tshirt again specifically at the word camp. I walked out leaving both of them in silence.

Paul POV
He watched Percy leave after being suprised by his mention of where he had been. Sally looked at him and they continued to talk about her life before Gabe. She seemed to miss out lots of information about Percy he just wanted to know because it seemed that Percy's father was a nice guy so why had he left Sally? He brought up the question. "Sally why are you missing out large points on Percy? You both seem so close and why did Percy's father leave you?" She gulped and looked him in the eye "unfortunately that is not my story to tell it is all Percy's when he gets back ask him I'm not sure on the most part!" He smiled at her and brought her into a warm embrace as they settled on the sofa watching the tv.

Percy POV
He thought of ways he could break the news to Paul. He reached the convenience store and felt for money in his pocket and only found 5 golden drachmas. He sighed and put the toothbrush back reluctantly going back to the flat taking the longest route possible. He arrived home creeped past the living room then shouted down the hall "mum I'm home and I'm going to sleep!" His mum replied "Okay honey I'll call you in the morning." He got changed and settled into his bed trying to imagine his cabin back at camp. He missed Annabeth and the sound of waves that he could hear in cabin 3. He closed his eyes and slipped it sleep.

Sally POV
She heard Percy return and promised to call him in the morning. Her son was a brief reminder of the happiness she had found with Poesidon. He had Poesidon's black hair which was always wild and messy just the way Percy liked it. And he had his Sea green eyes that changed with his moods. Sometimes it was easy to tell what he was feeling but most of the time his eyes were deep and mysterious.

"Do you like Percy?" She asked him. Paul looked as if he had been caught off guard. "He's nice. I at first thought he was going to be a gangsta but now I realise he is just a boy with ADHD and dyslexia who just finds some things hard." She sighed and smiled they were going to get on fine.

Percy POV
The morning came slowly as Percy had been up since 2 am due to nightmares about recent battles. He lay daydreaming about whatever took his fancy until his mum called him to breakfast. Blue waffles with syrup. Paul looked at his second blue meal even though he had been told the story. "Paul." He looked up "yes Percy." He thought on how to word it and it came out as "we owe you the truth about me, my father and where I disappear to." Paul nodded to tell him to carry on. "Well," he said "you might want to hold onto something because your in for the surprise of your life." Paul finished his food and looked up at him as if to tell him that he was ready. "Well, erm you know the Greek gods?"
"Like the ones from Greek times?" Paul questioned. "Yes well I'm a demigod and it makes one of the gods my father." Paul looked at him then laughed "you gotta be joking. You expect me to believe that! I was a teacher of it!"

Paul POV
Percy's eyes became a stormy grey like the cloud of churned water. The entire flat rumbled as Percy began to look angrier than Paul had ever seen. Before Percy's anger exploded he stormed out screaming "I hate mortals I am Περσεύς." Then silence. "Did he just speak in Greek?" Sally nodded and grabbed his and her coat. They locked the flat and Sally stated "he wasn't lying he gets attacked everyday by monsters. Most of the demigods will never reach 18" he looked at her in disbelief then dropped his eyes feeling guilty of what he had said. "Percy has to be near here we should find him before any monsters do!"
