Chapter 15: No protection (R21)

Hello again! The last time we left Anna telling Liam that his ex is pregnant with his child! Oh dear, what will actually happen? Let's check it out ..

Alex has brought Anna over to their Penthouse because he couldn't just leave her at home alone in that state of mind.. He was worried about her and he had to be at the penthouse tonight as there are some unfinished work left behind which is close to his deadline. He brought her to his penthouse instead so that he can keep an eye on her and do his work at the same time. Anna cooperated and immediately lay on his bed, stomach down. Sean pulled Alex back , preventing him to enter his own room.

"What happened to her?" Sean went up to the leader, asking him, his heart full of concern for the poor girl.

" Liam.." was all the leader said, walking off to the kitchen afterwards. Sean and Ivan took a glance at each other, walked in to Alex's room to check up on the poor girl together.

" Hey hey.. What happen?" Ivan and Sean walked towards her and sat beside the bed.. Anna still laying on her stomach, her face smushed on to Alex's pillows. She only lift her head up at them when she felt nudges and shakes. She faked a smile and quickly plant her face back on to Alex's pillow, preventing them from seeing her tears.

" You wanna eat something? " Ivan asked, stroking and combing her dark brown hair but she just shook her head. Both her head and heart is in a mess, how would she have the appetite to eat?

" You probably have not taken your dinner yet so you need to eat.." Ivan continued looking at his watch and back to stroking her hair as a way of comfort..

" I'm not hungry, I'm probably going to catch a flu .." She lift her head up and slowly got up to a sitting position. She didn't want to lie but she had to in order not to complicate matters even more.

" All the more you should eat! " Ivan stood up and fish his phone out from his back pocket but Sean stopped him.

" I'll cook for her .." Sean suggested, slowly getting up from the bed to join Ivan in his standing position but before Anna could response or speak, Ivan interrupted.

" Please.. I think she will be more unwell after consuming your food .. We should just call for delivery" Ivan prevented him from getting out of Alex room, he showed Sean his phone, waving it in his face. Anna was looking at them debate, but nothing is going in her broken heart and mind now.

Really boys?

" Delivery food is not good .. I'll cook.. " Sean insisted as he budges his way out the room, ignoring the debates from the youngest, but the two stopped in their tracks when they almost collided with their leader who is carrying a bowl of hot noodle soup.

" Alex cooked.." Ivan smiled at him and gave a pat on the leader's back before heading out.

Problem solved..

2 hours later..

" You looked awful" The moment Julie saw Anna at the sofa, she let out her honest comment .. Julie plotted beside her best friend and she was honestly shocked to see how pale her face was.

" It's nice to see you too.. " Anna could still let out a joke after all these drama. She felt better after having the meal that Alex cooked which helped to cooled her mind and body down. Her heart was still in pieces but maybe it was the presence of her friends or more specifically Alex that made her feel a little better.

" What happened to you?" she can't help but ask Anna. She looked really pale and this caused her to worry.

" Unwell .. " she blurt out the same lie again.. This matter was ultimately between Liam and Shirley. She did not tell them herself was because she felt that it was not her place to tell them. Even in this situation, she would still want to protect her boyfriend, or perhaps, soon to be ex-boyfriend.
